No concern about reduced airflow and cooling? Some big lights!
should be a valid concern. Good thing is I don’t really tow and Wisconsin isn’t the warmest of climates.

I’ll absolutely need to keep an eye on it. I was really drawn to the Solis lights and wanted to give them a try.

here is a light of day pic.

update at 11:41. Just before midnight.
Workspace is clean. Everything installed.

Looking forward to my Warn Epic hook inbound tomorrow and snorkel next weekend.
What snorkel did you go with?

Also, do you find it interesting how every picture of the ARB bondi looks like its jutting really far out the front of the jeep, but in person it looks perfect? I think that even of the pics I take. I also dont think its as heavy as the shipping weight lists. I expected it to be a tank that sagged the front but it didnt.

Nice install!

Hi Kurt
Kept the ARB theme going with their Safari snorkel.

I was so worried that I bought a battleship looking item. But once installed I don’t see how it could be any tighter and comfortably hold a 10k winch. Plus I think it looks perfect (meaning not too big and fits the vehicle)

I should have measure Pre and post sag, but nothing drastic for sure.

I’m super happy with it.

although it appears installing the light harness maybe beyond what I’m comfortable with. :(

I need to tap into the headlights and running lights but no idea which wires those are.

plus how the heck would I make it through the firewall (the engine bay is so tight).
How the heck did they wedge a 392 in there!!!

Re-gear complete! Picked up the truck on Thursday from Trailtec 4x4 in Richmond with the new Dana 4:88s installed. Loved the feel of it instantly. I wanted more low-end and I got it - doesn’t feel like I’m just skipping through the lower gears on the way to 5th and 6th anymore. I guess what I’m trying to say is I can feel the power there now. Plus, I now cruise in 8th gear where before I rarely saw 8th, and only for a few seconds at a time.

Trailtec also installed a Synergy track bar for me, and bolted on the RockHard 4x4 Partriot Tube Sliders (angled down) that have been sitting in my shed for several weeks.

I really love old school running boards, and was afraid I’d really miss them once I switched, but not the case at all. I was also worried that the tube sliders wouldn’t give me enough depth to make a good step, but that is definitely not the case either. I looked at a lot of photos of other people’s Patriot tube sliders, and could never really get a good sense of how far they extend from the body, so I took a few pix myself from different angles hoping they might be helpful to others considering these sliders:

They are nearly as wide as the fenders, so plenty of room to plant your foot on them.
Yesterday I put some Vicious grip tape on them, extra coarse. Yowch! That stuff IS vicious. Ended up having to put gloves on to finish pressing it all down firmly... One roll was perfect for doing both sliders, and I did each one with one continuous run of tape.

And today I redid the blackout vinyl on my tailgate. No pix - looks just like it did before except that now the tailgate vinyl lines up with the taillight surrounds vinyl.

Bed board. Sometimes it’s the simple things in life, like not having to fish a can of beans out of the front of the bed. lol

Installed a new hood latch.
Not pictured... reinstalled my sunrider for hardtop since I went on a weekend trip. The sunrider gets pretty noisy on the freeway so the freedom panels went on for my road trip.
