@steffen707 here are the part numbers:

6AC241A3AA Pad-Instrument Panel
6AC261A3AB Air Bag Door

:like:

Hope that helps. :)
since you had the dash off did you see where the airbag deploys from? Ive been curious if its smack dab in the middle of the plastic or of it shoots from just behind the grab bar.

In all the photos I took, not one shows it, but there is a split in the air bag door on the backside. It is reinforced and hinged so that the airbag will deploy through the panel with the panel supposedly just hinging out of the way.

Picked up my Sport S from Tri-City on Thursday evening.

First things first, Rubicon take off wheels and tires and a stubby antenna...

Took off the air dams today; figured that would be about a 20 minute job. Reader, it was not. Approximately 83 bolts in each one, most of them in hard to reach places, all of them 10 times longer than they need to be. Looks much better though...

Now I just need to figure out which rock rails/side steps to buy
This is so true on removing those air damns. Seriously why the hell are those bolts so long?

Spent a little time with Gladriel. Really could have used a man’s muscle but I managed. :involve: Got the leather trim dash installed so Gladriel looks proper.

Do grill inserts serve a purpose besides being an ornament? If they are designed to keep bugs out of your radiator, do they restrict airflow at all, are they easy to clean?

I’m sure there is some restriction but how much or if it has any effect I don’t know. I’m not concerned since we are going into winter but I will probably do a comparison next year when the weather changes.
