Its not to bad. They'll probably replace the rear tail light and the tail gate.
It doesn't look like anything else is damaged.
I plan on keeping this for a long time. I'm going to depreciate it more on the trail.. So I'm not too concerned about that.

Not sure, but it wasn't to bad. I feel worse for them , their vehicle may be totaled.

Make sure that whomever you have fix it takes a good look at the entire frame from front to back as well as the cabin mounts, may seems silly but things can get damaged just from the force of it and it'd suck to have some unknown damage become a problem down the road.

I'll have them check over everything. Thanks

Also look into diminished value, even though it’s a small amount of damage you could get about 5k.?

my civic got side swiped on the front bumper the first month I had it, and they ended up giving me $2400 without much argument, the JT is about double the cost of a civic ...

I agree. Rugged Ridge has a winner with this one; tucks in nice and tight and mounts the winch nice and low. Personally I like it better than the factory steel bumper. I would just need to figure out how to swap out the hooks for D-ring mounts as I find the hooks a little too "in your face" for my taste.
The stamped steel bumpers look so much better than the welded up steel plates... My opinion...
Just a more modern look with the curves and contours..

Drove past the Moab exit. Quite beautiful this morning. Going to be some serious mud and snow wheeling over the next 10 days. Son and I are off on a chilly elk hunt.
