Earned our 4th badge of honor today. It came with some damage but man the Pinyon Mountain Trail is amazing. The gladiator handled like a champ.

I honestly love it, helps heaps especially when you can’t see the road over the hood lol. Takes a while to get used to where the bar is in comparison to the actual end but you quickly adjust.

Getting closer to my "Apex Edition" Jeep! Thanks to @pixeldecals for creating my hood vinyl!!

Backstory (in case anyone cares): my very first Jeep was an '02 TJ Jeep Wrangler. It was a special edition Wrangler called an "Apex Edition." Basically, the only thing different that year was the good graphic, chrome wheels, and dark tan leather seats.

Now all I need to do to in order to finish off the look is to get some dark tan leather seats. Looks like I'll be saving up for some Katzkins!

Wow, my son has an 02 Apex... I was considering a new hood decal for his as the original hood has a dent... how funny to see your JT... I’m waiting for my JT to be built...

Finally, upgraded the tires. Kept the Overland take-offs for now.....I went up to the 285/75 R18.

No issues. BIG difference in looks!

Fall is in full color in VT so my gf and I took a 2 hour loop on the natural turnpike through the middle of the state and found some sandpits...I don’t have a winch yet and don’t have experience driving in the sand so I played it pretty cautious (tried going up the hill and started to bog down in loose sand so I reversed outta there!). Next time I’ll air my tires down but wasn’t interested in getting stuck!

Not a big fan of how the soft top sits (on top) folded. Four more bolts and it is off...

The next step is to find some sort of quick-disconnect bolts for those four.

Thanks for the suggestion. Slightly different set up on the Gladiator soft top. It was either the T50 or T40 (can't remember which) that has two bolts on each side going into the roll bar area (as opposed to the tubes). A bit overkill, they could have probably done one two lock it in.
