Yesterday I cut down 5 hibiscus trees in my front yard, today rented a chipper.

Can't remember if I already posted these and too lazy to go back through a few pages find out!

Picked up a bench seat we had reupholstered for a '95 Ford F150 my niece bought. It was a farm truck and though it kinda looked ok outside the interior was torn to hell, an inch of dirt on the floor, the clear plastic over the gauge faces so clouded they couldn't be read, etc. We re-did it all and are finishing it up now. It'll just be her vacation, pull a little trailer truck but we want it to look better.

Work took me to the South of Qatar yesterday, we wrapped up at about 1530hrs so rather than hit the tarmac I set East on the compass and drove to the Inland sea and then handrailed north out of the dunes. A 70km trip before hitting tarmac again.

I BURIEEEEEEEEEED my Gladiator yesterday with my 5 year old. 500 feet from home and battling the worst head cold of my life alongside my little boy we heated to Sanford to get a new winch rope for my ATV plow and almost made it home after getting a foot. My Son says “Daddy look!” I’m sick and not in my right frame of mind so I look and guess where I steer? Into a three foot snow line over my neighbors two foot ditch. My Son said and I quote…”Daddy, I’m going to tell Mommy”.
We walk home, my Wife comes out after I grab some salt and a shovel and she says…and I quote “your an idiot, trust it to Chris to get a Jeep Gladiator completely stuck”.
To add insult to injury my neighbor shows up with his F-150 and uses my ratchet strap to help me get it out.

Swapped out my KmC machetes wrapped with 38's Milestar Patagonia with these set of 37 Nitto Exo on Method beadlocks. Immediately regretted my decision, Patagonias are more effective on ice than these supposed to be better Nittos Exo grapplers. They are both 13.5 wide, anyone had the same experience?

Took a trails ride through the Ocala Nat'l Forest BoH trails.

Spent a little more time cutting brush out of the way to prevent pinstriping than I did driving but it was nice to get out in the woods for a few hours.
The new-to-me Falcons got a workout. Very smooth over the clay washboards and the 3" suspension lift gave a lot of room to work.

Also got to winch a good size pine log off the trail. Took a little more than ½ hr in cramped conditions. I do need another tree strap just for this purpose.
Setting up a block on a standing tree farther up the trail and winching it away from the truck does a great job of really tucking the log out of the way.

Nothing special- took the wife to Long Beach WA for an extended Valentine’s Day weekend and today took my Brittany and hunting buddy to a preserve and hunted some birds. Gladiator served well in both trips.
