I did donuts in the local parking lot.

I'm lying, I did nothing with my JT today. I'm enjoying 75° days by the side of the pool in January without a bit of snow.

Can't beat that.

It hit 40* today so I was able to wrench on the JTM w/o the heater on and garage door open

So…. I haven’t driven in the snow for a couple years. Weather has always been too warm here in southern PA. The last time I drove in the snow, was in a 2016 GMC Canyon (on car-like tires). So….I was itchin to get out in the snow just to get a ‘feel’ for the JT & these Wildpeak OEM tires.

I know it doesn’t look like much….but I’d waited all day before it started laying on the roads. It’s still snowing hard….☺ I didn’t want to wait any longer. There’s a beer at home calling my name. 😉

I’m really really impressed… The JT feels much more ‘stable’ than the GMC Canyon ever did. Granted, I had a full tank of gas. Even in 2WD…. the rear didn’t step out like I was expecting. 4WDAuto does nicely…. you don’t even know its working. It just does… Stomp on the brakes a few time…. .. force the ABS to engage, stops quickly.

I was in a local church parking lot, so no doughnuts. I was a good girl….. It was hard to tell where the lot was - and I almost drove on the grass. 😳

Sooo happy with how it did!! Makes me want to go out and play more!!

Just realized I went over 100,000 miles and missed the photo. Not exciting, more worrisome. ‘Till the wheels fall off… or the engine blows, I guess. Still love it!

I'm a few thousand shy of 50k, but I'm figuring on an engine swap when my motor goes. No intention of ever getting rid of mine.

At least not right now, but I said that about the CJ5 I had for over 25 years.

Looks like someone maybe into BDSM. What's your safe word?
I thought I was the only one that built crazy shit…yep that’s me lifting a new set of stairs into the pool last year, by myself (it was heavy (8 50lbs bags of sand in the damn thing)until it started filling with water, then it got Really heavy), the winch, the crane and fab’d up stand survived the install and the take out last fall. BTW, those are 6x6x1/2” pieces of plate in the counter balance area of the stand for the crane.

You have the same set of steps as I have for the pool. I have 4, 40 lbs bags in mine.

Same here. I lift it in and out on my own. I was told by the pool installer 4x 40lb was all that was needed in a saltwater pool. My pool is also above ground.

That crane build is definitely cool though.

Here’s where it spends most of it days…lifting heavy stuff my old back just refuses to lift.
