"Imagen Ese!"

I'm olde, grumpy, smell like bad Shallots, and I'm teaching myself Spanish!

"Imagen Ese" means Photographic Essay!

Working on killing the "Avenger Light", and I hope in an hour or so I'll know for sure.

Winter rims off, new Bill Stein Shocks, and summer rims on.

Don't know much about this guy Bill, but he makes a purty shocker Sorber.

I don't know if I shared this, I'm too olde, grumpy, and smell like bad onions to do this crawling around on the floor stuph anymore!

In the meantime, a "Imagine Ese!"

Two days of volunteer work for:
Epic Rides, Whiskey Off Road MTB race in Prescott, Az. On Saturday I had 150 gallons of water, an easy up, bike racks, tables, 3 cases of oranges and much more.

Riley Amos (Olympian) won the Pro 50 race

Got ducked at the grocery store, and then did absolutely nothing. Pool time.

Saturday took the dog to go check on snow levels.

We had fun, had to pull cable twice.

But made it to where I wanted to go.

Saw a mountain goat, dog pointed him first. Couldn't get my phone out fast enough to get a picture when he was on top, behind Gladiator in upper picture. Picture through the tree was the best I could do.

Came up on this on the way out. They thought they were taking the scenic way home. Had to hook a strap through the front tire and pull them about 6ft.

Afterwards, I gave them a nice polite lecture/education about snow and turning around when you don't know what your doing. They were great about it and said I was right and the appreciated the advice and the help.

You mean, there’s a difference? 🤣
The only difference is that over time people didn’t know that “duck” tape was actually “duct” tape. My dad used to work in the air conditioning business before most people had ever heard of “duck” tape. We had that stuff on just about everything. 😆

And these days, you can get it in different colors other than gray.

And there it is. That stuff is about half the thickness of what we had when I was a kid.
Chinese knockoff?
The stuff from 3M is a lot more expensive as I recall. And it's heavier.

Yes, it is both. And works so much better for heavy duty usage.

Long before it came in a rainbow of colors we had 90mph and 100mph tape in the military. We referred to it by those names because that was the airspeed it would fly off the helicopter when used on the exterior. The 90mph was slightly lighter in color than the 100mph tape.

In 1997, I covered an entire Chevy 20 conversion van in duct tape. Started at the bottom and did rows going up so it would be like shingles. I used white duct tape for racing stripes over the top. It was amazing. Never peeled off, even in the Wisconsin winter. But then the oil pump on the old 305 failed, and the engine seized. Oh well. I wish I had a picture. WAY pre camera phone. So that one is just in my memories. I also once mumified myself in duct tape for Halloween.

I’m assuming bonnet head shark in the Gulf of Mexico?
Ha! Yes you are probably right. Wasn’t sure. I have never seen a small hammerhead before either, so I wasn’t sure. I love the diversity of what we see here. Almost always a curious pod of dolphins. Usually some stingrays. Sometimes a turtle or two.
