Lol now ya got to get it fired back up so you can get the Gladiator out .. thats funny. But hey several miles is several miles it wouldn't have done without the work ya put in it so far. My bets on the fuel filter . Or the Carb.Towed the Willyās a couple blocks after a 2nd test drive today. Died close to home after doing several miles successfully. Oh well. Iāll figure it out later. Backed thr gladiator way into the garage and winched the Willys in. Oops. Iām stuck.

Iām thinking carb. The fuel filter is completely full with no air bubble at the top. So I think the float got stuck.Lol now ya got to get it fired back up so you can get the Gladiator out .. thats funny. Yep I say your right . Those tiny tips on tbd end of the needle get a wore in ring and will get caught on just a tiny fragment of dirt . Old old type didn't have a rubber tip . Does yours have the rubber tip or solid brass ?Iām thinking carb. The fuel filter is completely full with no air bubble at the top. So I think the float got stuck.

The guy I bought it from replaced the carb with some version of a motor craft 2100. I wouldnāt know that without @ShadowsPapa. I showed him a picture and he instantly licked it out of a lineup. I havenāt pulled it completely apart, but did use sea foam once to clean it out the lazy way. I havenāt pulled no doubt that thereās dirt in it, as I have yet to figure out a way to fit an air cleaner on it. The motor is a disaster. Iām not keeping that one in there, so am avoiding any major maintenance thatā costs anything much more than my time.Yep I say your right .
