Jeep aka Stellantis wanted my dealer to do a deeper dive on my Jeep. So final results......bank 2 intake cam and full valve train..........I guess 2 weeks will be better than 6+weeks and I'll still be under warranty........I will continue to drive it like I stole it.

Told the dealer I want the smoked cam for my wall of shame..........it's not like Stellantis doesn't have enough of them lol

Um, you do know that shorter sidewalls are much more likely to blow if you ever go off road right?

I don't off-road. The only thing it does other than the daily drive is pull a 22ft camper.

Took it to the hills by my house to practice with the Offroad+ and Select Trac features. That I don’t get to use much lately.

Then I went home, retired my old flag that the latest windstorm destroyed, and commissioned a fresh, full colored one (I didn’t realize how faded the old one was until I took it down)

Went to buy a wire wheel and return a couple things, came home with a wire wheel, four bags of top soil, a bag of potting soil, a bag of peat moss, three large outdoor pots, a bag of bark, and some of that white stuff to help with soil drainage

‘Murica. Do you remember who you went through for your flag pole? Been looking at them recently.

IOEN 25 FT 12 Gauge Heavy Duty... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DCBPDR6H?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Edit: I just checked the link and it’s still 25% off at $134

I bought another one on Amazon day with a $50 discount to install in the back yard that backs up to another street. Haven’t put that one in yet. I’m also going install a base at the family property in Lucerne Valley to take it with me for our thanksgiving week camping trip. Gotta fly the colors.

Full pic from the street

@KevinM60 Looks doable. Thanks. The one I had on the porch was no bueno. Haven’t been able to find a decent replacement that was actually metal and looked like it would last with our winds here.

This one has held up against some pretty strong winds. It comes with a quality flag that won’t tear apart too. I used to buy the cheep ones for my wall mount pole that would wear out within a year until I accidentally bought a quality one and found the value of a good flag. My last one lasted maybe 5 years.

I’ll probably just drop it into a good bit of quick set concrete just to be safe. Bonus is I get to use my HF auger.

That’s what I did. It comes with a sleeve and instructions for the concrete base. The full pole is removable. That’s why I’m going to build another base in the desert to fly the flag when I’m out there.

Was my wife with you? That’s what happens when we hit Home Depot as a family. Instead of the tool aisle, we end up in the garden department. :)
