It's not the "work" that's of concern - it's the parts. Hope he doesn't have to eat that cost. But if he stands behind the whole thing, parts and his work.......... then hope for him they hold up.

Apparently they had over-sized openings for the bushings, or, the bushings were a bit small for the ends. There's supposed to be a certain amount of force required when bushings are pressed into any suspension or steering parts.
I recall another company that ran into a similar issue - they, of course, like everyone does because no one makes their own bushings - ended up with bushings now and then that didn't take the spec'd force to press them in. The solution int that case was 3 spot welds to prevent bushing migration in the part.
The shop is 4 miles from the house. I will be a thorn in their side if this goes badly and I will expect a full, "I told ya!!," @WILDHOBO !!

I genuinely hope it ends up fine. Maybe they fixed the bushing problem. But if I didn’t speak up and saw you complain later, I’d feel bad.

You did the right thing. Bad news doesn't age well after the fact.

You are lucky, there's nothing within 4 miles of us. It's a half hour drive to almost anything of importance, other than a grocery store and gas stations 20 minutes away.

You can annoy them to no end!

I'm hoping that someone saw a pattern in there somewhere and FIXED it by the time you get parts.

You would hope so! I've seen the same metamorphous in the motorcycle parts world over the last 20 years. Crap was being sold at caviar prices and eventually the quality caught up to the hype.

Still. Sorry for creating stress.
I just retired from 38+ years in the military (Army 25 years 21 days and Air Force 12 years 5 months) racking up 7965 combat flight hours. The only thing that causes me stress now is my wife finding out how much I spend on this thing!!

She asked me once, recently, “how much do you think you have into it now”? I acted like I heard her wrong and asked if she meant how much blood. Then I ran away before she could follow up.

I'm not sure what caused it to build up so much pressure.
Got an appointment this coming Thursday to have a brake fluid flush done. It's kind of spongy even though I bled it after the brake replacement last week.

I have plans to replace the brake lines with braided SS lines, then I will flush and bleed. I just hate to do it now, when I only have 4300 miles on the truck.

I’m assuming you’re referring to the rear lines. I’d checkout the metalcloak brake lines. Very nice. Very durable. I can’t even manage to scratch them.

Does doing our taxes in the driver's seat of my Jeep this afternoon count? Because it's the most relaxing place to sit, without interruptions. 🤣 Multiple states, multiple jobs, energy credits, investment forms, and all the eligible fees from selling a home. Thankful we get a refund. I would love to say I get Jeep parts with that refund, but not this time. Maybe next time.
