First road trip in the Gladi dragging our "camper". No complaints!

First we went to Overland of America in Jay, OK.
Next was Colorado Springs to tackle the Manitou Incline.
Then off to Gunnison NF followed by Flat Tops Wilderness.
A night in a hotel.
And finally a night in the Black Hills on the way home.

Actually I take that back, couple small "complaints", but nothing that can't be easily resolved. Windshield washer fluid cleans the windshield but makes the side windows a mess, and need a transmission tune.

Will have a trip report in my build thread at some point today.

What did I do with my JT? Parked it for 11 days. I start my 9 day Caribbean cruise today out of Miami. So, I'll be off grid starting about 5pm today. Be back on the 22nd. I don’t want to see anyone get banned in that time.

Back from my cruise. Went to St Martin, seen both sides of the island. It is a 3rd world when you get away from the tourist areas. Half Moon Kay. One of the best beaches I've ever been to. And Celebration Key, it's a private island owned by Carnival Cruise Line.

So........did anyone get banned while I was gone?

Today was Kane Creek trail. Made it off the trail with minimal scrapes, and did the trail sans doors to minimize the pinstripes. Made it through "the squeeze" unscathed, although I got the hot clutch message. Yep, manual transmission, baby. Winched the shelf wall, but walked through the rest of the obstacles with relative ease. Left a little Boca Chica beach sand at the trailhead and at the end. Video of "the squeeze" coming later.

You drove that trail like every other. Making it look easy. Comes with experience I guess. I get that it was a tough day for others, but it doesn’t change that Kane creek is one of my top five. It’s just got everything.

Well, we seem to have gotten hit by a monsoon.. was so much rain couldn't work today ‍ so its sleeping today.

I used it to ferry parts from parts store, to get the Willy’s running. Finally did just before dark. Took the kids for a spin on the neighborhood dirt road.
