What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Took a few days and spent some time at the beach with the trailer.

Headed south and found a good drinks and pan fried oysters.

Another day we stopped and played some video poker and had a boozy shake.

Last full day we went and had bloody Mary's at a new spot.

Then we took the dog to the beach yet again. She loves to play in the surf and sand.

Then we just relaxed and listened to the waves for awhile.

Looks very relaxing.

It was. We spent 5 days out there. Had the dog on the beach every morning before the crowds and a few times during the day. Didn't do much, watched a movie before bed. Spent a little time sightseeing.
We go there somewhat regularly, so there's not much new to do. But that's OK, means no rushing around. Came home Thursday, before the roads got crowded.

Averaged 17mpg over the whole trip.

Nah this was just a test result from my latest blood work (all good, BTW, until this time next year). I didn't have the "Hello Sailor" treatment this time.

But, he was very busy today, I never even met with him, just his assistant. Me, being the smartass I am, he walked past me, not noticing. I said, kinda loud, "Hey Doc !! Can you at least say hi ? We've been intimate, you and me. You felt things I've never had felt before !" He stopped dead in his track, hung his head, turned and smiled. He began walking towards me with his hand extended. I held up both hands and said, "I'm not touching that.". "Good to see you." he said with a smile and turned. I saw his shoulders lurch. He was chuckling.

The assistant I was with said, "We always like when you come in. You have a good attitude and make us laugh.". "Well, this whole place is uncomfortable, I make jokes so we can all relax.".
