What kind of discounts are people getting on new Gladiators nowadays?

I just finalized on a 24 Mojave X.
$65,485 MSRP sticker
$48,200 sales price

I simply could not get the dealer to budge any further. I actually walked out of the dealership twice over a two-week process.

Congrats, you did great ... unprecedented period.
Were there any 2025s on the lot yet?
Dealers who didn't have any 2025s on the lot yet were panicking about a month ago and were adding as much as an extra $7k on-top of the Rubicon and Mojave 20% national discount.
If your dealer already has 2025s on the lot they may feel less panicky about offloading 2024s.

A few questions for the group:
  1. Do you think the 20% off will trickle down to the other trim levels besides just the current Rubicon and Mojave trims? With so many high-optioned 2024 Willys and Sport S's (i.e. high margin options) putting them squarely in Rubicon and Mojave territory approaching $60k, I don't see how they can't.
  2. Is it unreasonable at this point to expect a matching discount from the dealer at a minimum (i.e. 15% + 15% = 30% off for Willys and below), especially for units approaching 1 year on market? Not sure the crossover point where they just dump at auction rather than take the haircut at retail. When the tables turn, it's amazing how stubborn dealers are to just take what they can get. The only explanation I have is they think #1 is going to be a reality in March or sooner. 5% extra from Stellantis is real money on these high-optioned lower trims.

Simple answer, hard to speculate as the dealers or corporate can change deals day to day based on inventory and rates. Historically, its either high trim or the base stripper models are the only ones that get killer discounts........so the middle of the pack trims get little pricing action.

In that scenario, buy a higher trim model and your resale value will be better with depreciation and more desirable in the used market. Gotta play the field or odds in your favor.

I just brought home a new 2024 Mojave (non X) stickered at a bit over $66k for $43.5k (not including fees & TTL). It had been in their inventory for 10 months. I lost 4 hours out of my life and almost walked out, but I held firm and got to a number I was happy with - 20% Jeep discount plus 14% dealer discount.

First thing I did when I got home was change the oil!

So few Rubicons and Mojaves left compared to when the 20% national incentives started on Jan 4th, when I bought mine. The tristate area I’m in was already wiped out back then so I had to buy my JTRX online out of state. The fact you got your deal in-store is really convenient/lucky. By now, things are really picked over plus the fact dealers now have their 2025s on-hand and are not as panicky as when I bought mine.

Agree it's getting down to the picked over Mojave/Rubicon inventory at this point. I found mine at a rural dealer which likely helped it not being snatched up already.

I assume 20% must be imminent on the remaining 2024 Sport/Willys models? I was surprised how many new 2023s are still out there...

There are a handful of Jeep dealerships within a 24 mile radius of me.
One has a 2025 Gladiator Rubicon X with a $5k discount and $1500 Presidents Day discount.

This is a $6500 discount from the MSRP of $64315. So it's selling for $57815.

What seems strange to me is that this is the only dealer offering a $5k discount.
Makes me wonder if they will try to make that up with add-ons or other fees.

I’m not saying huge discounts won’t happen again but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Look what happened at the turn of the year 2023/2024 and then it happened again 2024/2025. I’d be astonished if that double whammie of massive discounts happens again 2025/2026.

I think we’re seeing the new norm with pricing and discounts and that’s why I bought a year earlier than I anticipated. Once I read predictions that Stellantis planned to control production better throughout 2025, in order to avoid such inventory saturation and resulting 20% to 30% discounts, I knew now was the time to buy.

I’ll add that so far the vast majority of 2025s near me are lower trims (lots of Nighthawks) or lightly optioned Mojave/Rubicons.

I was surprised to see while the base price is lower for 2025 and automatic is standard, most packages and options increased in price.

I made an appointment to see the Gladiator tomorrow. It's the Rubicon X in '41 green color,
and that's one of my favorite colors. I just hope it's still available when I get there.

I have another comment...when I look for dealership reviews many of the service departments
get very low ratings. Reading customer comments (on Yelp) some of these service departments
are almost criminal in the way they treat customers. It gives me an uneasy feeling.

This particular dealership I will visit gets reasonably good service dept reviews.
Keeping my fingers crossed things work out well.

I bought out of state and picked a local dealership with good yelp ratings for my service and recall work. You are not stuck with the dealer you bought the Gladiator from for service work. Some folks are getting somewhere between 30 and 35% off on 2024 Rubicons and Rubicon X's. That is, off window sticker not counting tax and license which differs greatly by State.

Good to know I can use different dealers for service work.

I came close to buying a 2024 Rubicon but things didn't work out. I gave up on buying
a 2024 because I could not find one in the color or configuration I wanted. So I missed out
on the 20% discount. I have only myself to blame, I waited too long to jump on this deal.

But it's ok, as I like the '41 green color and extra towing capacity of the
2025 Gladiator.

I purchased my Willys for 20% off last month and they still have quite a few 2024s left at that discount.
