2006 ford mustang. Had it since high-school.
Here's a picture of the old and new.
Hopefully that car goes to some other punks kid who will take care of it.
Funnily enough, I received more compliments about my mustang the week before I traded it in than I had the whole time owning it.
2009 Tacoma SR5 DCLB with the V6 auto. It was a nice truck but getting up there in age and given the current market conditions I was able to sell it for what I paid for it 2 years ago despite having over 200k miles and some cosmetic issues.
I was originally set on a 3rd gen Tacoma until I actually drove one. Was apalled at how poorly they drove and how little of an improvement the 3rd gen was over my old one. Test drove a Gladiator on a whim and never looked back.
2011 Lexus LX 570 on 34s. Was an incredible ride, the Land Cruiser chassis + the adaptive height hydraulic suspension + the traction control system basically got through anything without fanfare. Rode incredibly well, basically silent on the road, and ultra reliable.
Had a 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland with the HEMI. Before that, the same but 2008. The 2008 HEMI got way better fuel economy than the 2011. Dunno why...same engine but...
I stoopidly sold the 2008 when I moved to Kyiv, Ukraine in 2018...not realizing that I'd be permanently be back at the end of that summer because my sister was doing illegal things with my Dad's estate, including trying to cut me out, against Dad's wishes. Did not return to Kyiv to stay and watch out for my Father. Part of that was that she was going to be moving him to a care facility which was totally against his wishes. He died peacefully at home 11 months ago and, I did grant him his final wish. He would always say, "The ONLY way I'm leaving this home is feet first, in a bag." So, when the funeral home came to get him, I made sure that is how he went out.
Got tired of driving the Expedition and got a good price for it. Then started shopping for a Tacoma or JT. Got the JT because Let's Go Brandon Toyota dealers and their stupid ADMs.
Traded the Audi Q3 for the JT.
Nice to trim the fleet as well. Less vehicles to maintain, wash, shuffle in our driveway, etc. If our house was set 5 more feet back, I'd be able to park 2 smaller vehicles tandem in the driveway. The A4 and Q3 could almost be tandem, but the Q3 would hang over into the sidewalk.
I checked sports car, I guess that's the closest thing in the options. Didn't want to let her go until I saw/drove my JT. Hopefully someone enjoys her because I wouldn't anymore.
For myself, it was a 2020 Cherokee KL Limited and a 2021 Challenger GT AWD.
I traded both because I wanted a Gladiator and the dealer I have worked with for the last 10 years had one I wanted and offered me more than I paid new for either of my vehicles on trade in and honored employee pricing on the Gladiator.
