to date, on my JT, my exhuast. It wasnt time consuming, but i had issues with my install. Clamps wouldnt hold tight enough and would come loose at the last portion and fall out while driving. i had to tac weld it. then it rattled on the spare tire cover. Weeks of light tapping to get the clearance out of the shield (i should have just removed it but im too F****** STUPID to think of that).

again, was it difficult? No. Annoying? Sure was.

My lift would be a close second. Trying to get the front track bar on whooped my ass. It was my first DIY lift over 2" and my level of confidence got humbled real quick. i SHOULD have done it at work but again (dealership) , im too F****** STUPID. lol

These two things should make most forum members laugh, and rightly so, bc they are easy to most Jeepers.
You are far from the first person to struggle with the front track bar. After hearing the stories, I was apprehensive to try it, but when I did, it went very smoothly - I just needed someone to manipulate the wheel while I fitted it to the frame. I think I got lucky.

I will PM you. I bought those too..... Then found out you need to modify them to retain the stock hooks as well. Then was told they won't work in a non stubby configuration. I want them installed like yours.

I'll second this one. After installing Poison Spyder bumpers on my two JKUR's and just slapping winches on the top of them, I decided to go the "hidden" winch route on my Gladiator with the stock steel bumper. As if the clearances (and by that I mean the room needed to access bolts, etc.) weren't bad enough, I complicated it with these:

I hate that the stock steel bumper only has the hooks and not the shackle mounts, so I found a company in Canadia that made these. But then that meant I had to grind off the crush cans behind the bumper, cut holes in the plastic fascia for them to come through...AND...they are a lot of steel and heavy and use up that minimal clearance all that much more.

It turned out good but if I were to do it all over again, I would have replaced the stock steel bumper with one that is easier to install a winch onto.

Lift was most time consuming. Clayton 2.5 Overland Plus with the Falcon Sp2 3.5 Eadjust shocks.
Lift took 1 day. Wiring the shocks made it two.

Physically demanding is taking on and off the RTT.

Most my real challenges were non jeep related.

Still early in the MOD game, but I have to say the install of the M.O.R.E. dead pedal kicked my ass. The bolt plate was a pain until I used the tape trick to hold it in place. The rear nut also caused claw like cramps. Now I wish I had spent a little more time trying different positions since I feel like I need to move it forward one notch.

Everything I have done has been a fight for whatever reason! 30 min job, done 2 hours later. I have all the tools and am pretty mechanically sound, but this Mojave doesn't want to upgraded and just wants to fight.

The metal cloak lift on my diesel for sure.....I had to lift the jeep until the roof hit the garage and then had to compress the springs to get them in. The droop is absolutely insane.

I was coming here to say the same thing. The rear suspension of the JT for the lift, it was sketchy AF with how high i had to lift it.

As for hardest, definitely my poison spyder frame mounted rocker knockers. Bunch of holes to drill to 1/2 inch in the frame, bolts they gave me were wrong threads for the flag nut plates, flag nut plates that had to be finangled and bent to even line up, holes on the sliders themselves needed to be drilled out, inserts that had the holes too close to the tube to easily use a socket to tighten, and the front mounting brackets had a plate blocking the bolts so you had to hope and pray to get it lined up with the flag nut then use an open ended wrench to tighten.

Doing it a second time would be a lot easier, as the instructions initially had me drilling holes that were just too small to really work and now I'd immediately go to ace and get grade 8 bolts in the right thread.
