One other thing that is a downside for leather in Jeeps '24 and newer. Power seats. I would rather have a manual seat every single time. I don't have the patience to move power seats. Thats probably a me problem though.

Agree. I loaded this thing up with all I could and what I wanted to be as close to an X. Only options I didn't get were the body coloured fenders and leather basically.
Looking at my black fenders, there is no way I would run color matched fenders.

In a vehicle like the Gladiator I wouldn't mind power seats. It's not as though I have to move them often or far. The only time I need to move full travel is deep cleaning. A few times a year? That being said I have manual seats and they work totally fine for me. My Jeep JK had manual seats, and so did my 2005 Silverado and all of them I had no trouble getting comfortable in.

My Camaro is a little more annoying. Need to put someone in the back seat? Hold please while I slowly power the seat forward.

I had black plastic on my JK and now I have painted on my JT. I like the higher end look of the painted fenders but it wouldn't have been a deal breaker. Just turns out the Max Tow in '22 was standard with painted fenders.

My fenders look like they have been shot with a pellet gun thousands of times. At least I never care what type of gravel I run or how fast I go.

Go for leather you won't regret it plus the Mojave gets extra padding too.

This is one of those questions, along with fender-flare preference and pretty much anything related to these trucks now that I think about it... that is heavily swayed by where you live and what you do with the truck.

My truck will probably never see sand like the folks out west, or the kind of snow the OP is bound to get. Plenty of muddy riverbeds and wet mountain trails though. If my speedo says something over 20mph and I am in 4hi, I am falling off the side of a cliff and have pressed the skinny pedal to go out in a blaze of glory.

Looking at ordering a 26' Mojave. Actually ordered it last week but no VIN# yet so still time to change my mind. Kinda up in the air with interior. I've had leather in the past and found them to be hot and sweaty even in the great white north. So kinda leaning towards the bolstered Cloth but heated for those winter months. Thoughts?
Leather for durability, looks, and ease of cleaning; cloth for breathability and comfort.

Leather - (kids and heated seats) when going topless/doorless in the summer I use these Jeep Logo Towels on my seats and attach them under with bungees and gator clips:

Search for
Towel2Go Seat Cover with Jeep and Grille Logo.
I found them in black/orange to match my Punk'n orange JT Overland - I've seen them in Blue, Red and Black as well. Walmart, Amazon, etc. Mine have grommets so that you can clip the corners of one end together around the headrest. You can see them in this pic

I live in Phoenix and my black leather seats were very hot. I found someone (also a diesel rubicon) with brown leather seats to swap with. The brown leather is very comfortable all year round. If heat isn’t an issue, any color leather will be great for the reasons others have already stated.

Depends on the comfort your looking for daily. Current leather due to power seats multitude of options win out for me. Remote start in cold climates start warming seats, so not an issue that I’ve had in PNW. Heat is also not an issue for hot seats here, but choice would be different in the South.

Cloth!
After decades of vinyl & leather disappointments, I now enjoy all the comforts of proper clothing when not wearing much myself.

I have cloth with waterproof, machine-washable canvas seat covers from Rough Country. I definitely wouldn't want my dogs scratching the hell out of leather seats!
