I’ve searched and not found any good answers, please point me to anything I have missed.

My 2020 Gladiator Sport S is starting to get some shaking in the steering wheel. I may be looking too deep into it, but either way have been wanting to lift it for a bit.

I was wondering if the community has any known good recommendations for lift kits that replace as much of the suspension and related parts as possible to prevent or “get ahead” of what may be an soon to be full death wobble.

I’m at 90k miles so a lot of parts could do with replacing and I’m more than happy to pay extra for those even seemingly unnecessary replacements for peace of mind later down the road on trails.

any suggestions greatly appreciated!

You can get death wobble while stock if you have worn parts, unbalanced tires, or bad geometry from a cheap or partial lift.

Look for kits that are complete with all the correct parts you need - all four control arms with adjustment, shocks, springs, track bars front and rear, sway ar links, bump stops, etc. Depending how high you go, you might need some steering parts too.

I use the AEV heavy duty 3 inch lift, springs, steersmart steering parts, terafex steering stabilizer, and a Senergy sector shaft brace. Drives like a sports car. No wander or shake and shimmy

FWIW, even a great kit installed incorrectly will do the nasty dance. I can’t emphasize that enough. I had a highly recommended local “pro” who even does the jeep dealership installs butcher my instal. I have since reinstalled everything myself and mine drives like a dream now. I researched Core 4x4, Rock Jock and MetalCloak at the time. All make great stuff. It will set you back a bit, but due to their customer service with my needs I went with a Full 4.5” Gamechanger lift, their extended drive shaft, ( Woods or others would be fine too) their in house Rocksport Red shocks for travel, Tie Rod and stabilizer upgrade too. I have also added front and rear geometry control brackets which put the control arms back to stock angles. Currently on 37x13.5r17 X-AT and have single finger steering control at 75 on the highway. 2021 JT Rubicon. This kit handles so well I’m already dreaming of 40s / RCV’s, Reid knuckles and Baller Joints….. but those are dreams lol
