It wouldn't be that different than many convertibles or even the new Bronco's side windows. The side glass is frameless and seals to a gasket on the top.I assumed Toyota has some sort of patent since I don't see any other trucks with that option. Also, it would probably be an engineering feat to get the glass to roll down and have the top removable. ...but with that said roll down or removable glass would be great!
Exactly! As did the 1st gen 4 runners. The Tundras are common enough I figured it would be a better comparison. Especially considering it would roll down into the cab vs a tailgate, but the removable top shows it works. Just a little more engineering, but I suppose more to go wrong too.I think the original K5 blazer had roll down tailgate glass and a removable top. It would be super awesome on the JT
