Was I screaming? The interactions I’ve had with the Jeep Cares people have been very pleasant. They are doing all they can. Just a few minutes ago I was informed that the reason turbos are unavailable is the factory shut down and they are in the process of searching for a new vendor.

Yes. I understand it’s going to take weeks.

A year would be 52 of them but no one can predict that it will be done, even in a year.

To be clear, are you saying that to prioritize a Jeep over other brands was a mistake?

i am saying your jeep is effecting what you currently want/need to get done in the short term. The repair will be a long lead thing.

You keep writing about how the broken jeep has ruined or will ruin plans you have. You still have time to do things that fix future plans before they to are ruined by a broken jeep.

Based on what you have talked about you may want to look at other automotive options to solve you current dilemma.

Trust has been lost and that will impact what and how you do things in the future.

There should be a law that manufacturers have to provide replacement parts by x amount of days if it's currently in production. I don't understand how they can pump these vehicles out off the assembly line and then turn around and say sorry, turbo is on backorder, or your shocks to fix your bottoming out issues are 6 weeks out.

I'm afraid to say anything publicly, but no issues here so far in 13000kms with no additives, although the reports of cp4 failure are enough to make me start using an additive. Had a bad def warning, but no mechanical issues. Fingers crossed...

No issues yet, 2700 miles. I had a 2020 ram eco with 27,000 miles with zero issues, never any additive for lubricity.

I’m waiting for the official results of die in oil testing to verify my oil leak. The service manager just came out and told me that they believe it’s the oil filter housing and cooler assembly. Parts are over a month out

@Glad_he_ate Did you get a required parts list from them to do the replacement of the oil filter housing? Has yours already been repaired?

I am in the same boat they are telling me after replacing the oil filter housing gasket that now they have to replace the entire oil filter housing since I am still leaking. I have read when they do the timing cover leak they need part (68524869AA) which many have had back ordered so I'm curious what parts are needed to do the entire oil filter housing replacement so I can make sure they have everything they need prior to giving it to them. They also must have damaged my A/C condenser when they did the oil filter housing gasket since just after I got it back there was hissing every time I turned the A/C on, they are replacing that now as well.

Only a few hundred miles and no complaints. Lot's of power with 35" tires and a real pleasure to drive.

I didn’t get a parts list. They said the housing is back ordered 4 to 6 weeks. They were going to try “vehicle off road” status to make it a high priority but said it probably wouldn’t help much. What I find odd Is they said there was oil all over the place so the die test had to be done two times. I say that’s odd cuz I don’t loose any notable volume even after several thousand miles.

Went in for an oil change and they found trans fluid leaking from between the xfasr case and transmission. I'd say its diesel specific as we have a different trans the the gasser, hoping to get it back soon. I see possible signs of oil leakage around the bottom of the bell housing. Hoping its nothing and not a rear main.

My oil pan was quite wet this time and there was lots of bolt heads with oil pooling underneath but my oil is only down 1/4 from full on the dipstick after 5000miles. Worries me that they are going to do the oil filter housing then find it is actually the timing cover which many others seem to have had issues with on these Ecodiesels. Don't have a lot of confidence after being in so many times and told it's just spilled oil from an oil change.

The spilled oil remark would torque me. Especially if my dealer does the oil change
