Bump steer isn't caster.
You need to keep the track bar as parallel to the ground as possible - and in line with the steering linkage.

Wheel spacers moving the wheels outward can contribute as the tire/wheel now has more leverage to pull back on that side - it's a longer lever away from the ball joints or point of pivot as it moves left or right.
Bump steer is what the stabilizer can help mitigate.
So a track bar relocation bracket? A new track bar won’t change the angle right?

People Work?
Geometry correction brackets on the control arms will help to mitigate bump steer. They correct the road and trail impact angles so that they're directed up and into the suspension instead of rearward and into the frame.

Spin Ballance, Alignment shop tow check.

My 35s (and yours) with 2 IN. Mopar lift does not need a new trackbar but maybe folks with 37s can tell us if new trackbar is needed.

But the issue was not there when you had 35s or did I miss something?
Correct. No issues with 35s.

I’m going to have the wheels and tires remounted and balanced tomorrow. The 2 currently up front have 12 and 13oz worth of stick on weights.

Bilstein mono tube steering stabilizer fixed my bump steer issue. Mine setup are similar to your. Mopar 2" lift w/1 inch front spacers, 37s, front/rear track bars. Still on the mopar lift front lca.

I know many would says stabilizer isn't the answer to DW, but with heavier 37s tires, excessive bump steer over multiple uneven bumps can lead to DW. Steering stabilizer helps damping the lateral oscillating effect caused by bump steer.

The good:

I purchased a 2021 Gladiator a few weeks ago that had the Mopar lift already installed (6000 miles)

I recently ditched the 18” fuel wheels and 35”Yokohama MTs for Kansai 17” wheels and 37x12.50 C rated BFG all terrains.

I installed a Fox steering stabilizer a few days ago after the 37s went on.

The really BAD:

I’m getting serious death wobble every time I hit a bump in a turn, so bad that I completely loose control of the vehicle.
Tire pressure is at 30psi I’ve checked to make sure everything is tight, and verified that the dealer performed an alignment after the lift was installed.

I never had this issue with the 35” tires that came on it. So my question is… would the new wheel/tire setup and or steering stabilizer cause this issue?

… also worth mentioning I used 4wd for the first time the day I had the 37s put on because it’s been 0 degrees and we’ve had snow and ice.

I don’t know where to start with a solution except for throwing parts at it.
Go to a different tire installer and get all the tires rebalanced. That is what I did and after there was no death wobble at all. Then for good measure I had a dual steering stabilizer installed because the larger tires. Give it a try

When I was on 2” Mopar lift and 37” tires my steering stabilizer mount stud came loose and fell off. I immediately got DW. Replaced the bolt and DW was gone. So. Claiming that steering stabilizer can’t cause or fix DW contradict my personal experience. I am on 40” tires now and when I switched from 37 to 40” tires I started getting DW. Nothing fixed it until I installed adjustable steering stabilizer and adjusted resistance. But there was nothing loose on my front suspension. Obviously if something else in front suspension is loose stabilizer will not fix DW.

I wonder how many folks on 37s+ tires and still running the factory stabilizer or none at all? Probably slim to none lol.

The track bar mount to mount line must be parallel to the steering linkage. Anything else and you will have bumpsteer.

Someone finally said it. :like: Track bar has to be parallel to the drag link.

Had another reputable shop remount and rebalance today and while it does feel better driving down the highway I’m still having DW issues. It seems to occur most around 30-40 mph around a turn. I tried accelerating hard to see if it would stop but it made it so bad the front tires started squealing!!! Thankfully I got pulled over and stopped.

I’m going to start throwing parts at it until it’s gone fingers crossed control arms and track bars fix it
