This is listed along side "Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop". Anyone know if its any different than the previous ACC that would bring you to a stop then disengage in 5 seconds or so?

My guess would be partial driver assist. My wife’s car has it and it’s part of the cruise control system. You can choose to either have auto cruise just match speeds of cars in front of you, or the enhanced mode also follows the road, but requires hands on the wheel very often or it turns off. It works well with roads with good lines, but not on back roads. All tools have limits. If you use them when appropriate, you don’t end up getting a Darwin Award.

I think that's the same as I have on my '21. The speed control will maintain a preset distance to the vehicle in front, stopping if it stops (manual trans is different, I think it cuts out when the speed drops to 20 mph or so). It doesn't keep you in marked lanes or make noise if you drift out of your lane.

Adaptive Cruise Control - Absolutely! I am so used to that now in the other cars... too bad my Mojave does not have it... So I would say, if you can, go for it!
As some other have mentioned, the one that keeps you in the lane, I hate that functionality... I turn that off always...

That function is the Lane Departure Warning system, typically not part of the cruise control.
But I haven’t reviewed option availability recently, so it might’ve changed.

Used it in a Pacifica in the fall and liked it.
Might be different than the Jeep version.

Agreed, wish I had it. I know it's not perfect, but on a longer drive, set it to the max following distance and it takes a little fatigue out of things.

Lane departure wasn't on the advanced safety group when I got mine, and I haven't seen it on the "Build Your Own" in the Jeep site. Our Subaru has it, works pretty good.

Pretty sure lane departure requires electric steering, which I don't think the jt or jl have (neither my old jt or jl had any steering assist). I also believe acc with stop and go requires an electronic parking brake, which we also don't have.

ACC controls the brakes, has nothing to do with the parking brake. ACC handles stop and go traffic very well. It will disengage if stopped too long, but you just hit the resume button when traffic starts moving again.

In order to have full "stop and go" you need an electronic parking brake. The JT/JL only have "ACC with stop" and then it disengages after 5 seconds or so because there is no electronic parking brake the system can use to hold the vehicle. I'm not saying it makes sense, because it holds it just fine for those five seconds with the brakes, but thats how it is. Might be regulatory. RAM 1500's with the same system have "stop and go" because they have an electronic parking brake so the system can stop and hold it there until the resume button or gas pedal are pressed (I owned one, as well as JT and JL with ACC).
I was hoping this enhanced option in the builder would change that but it just sounds like its different wording and no change in behavior.
