They do great on my 7400# Ram
That's good to know, might be my next choice if I ever have to use the warranty on these ranchos. The adjustability is great for the price I just have to fight the salt with fluid film and go easy on the plastic adjustment knobs.

So it's been a busy weekend on BIG Willy. In preparation for the Rubicon axle swap, I installed a set of Lasfit locker and aux switches. Turned out better than I expected. I love that the radio mic plugs right in the front of the swith face. Allows for a clean radio installation.

Next I hid my midland gmrs radio under the glove box and wired it to my new aux switches.

Then I installed my bulletpoint mounting plate and grab bar mount.

Next I built a bracket for a remote power distribution center and winch interupter. I powder coated it gecko green and mounted all the components and connected my winch to the new switches.

Not sure why anyone would go through the headache and expense of retrofitting a hard wired front camera after this

I purchased a GreenYi 5G wireless Wi-Fi camera from Amazon. Install took about an hour and could have taken much less, but I tend do chase squirrels…lol. At some point I may correct the angle a bit due to a touch of OCD, but it’s damn close. So, I was out < $60 and have a camera with fully adjustable guidelines…through wireless technology…less a power and ground wire. The ground is run to one of the numerous fender ground posts and the power is ran to the cigar lighter switched power fuse in the fuse box.

The last 2 photos where from a horizontal screen, which were too large of files to upload so I screen shorted them in portrait mode.

After I save my penny’s, get and install a Bulletpoint dash mount I’ll mount an iPad mini so I can run multiple tracking maps at the same time.

Got things wired up so now I just need to add accessories - having power ran first is more important IMO. It's not super perfect, but it looks good and from not having fabrication tools or location I am plenty satisfied.

I placed it laying down on top of the rollbar rail behind the windshield. The base is small enough to fit between the freedom panel and the rollbar rail. I have a Sun shade with the elastic straps and I just slid it under one of those. I ran the wire behind the weather stripping of the passenger door and in through the access panel at the end of the dash. I wound up all the excess wire and tucked it behind the access panel. 100% hidden. I'll post a picture when I get a chance.

Have you had a chance to use it? How does it preform mounted in such a way?

I finally put in the Oracle RGB rock lights I’ve had for about two years.
What a joke!
I love how their flush taillights look, but held off buying them because of all the issues getting them to work or having bulbs go out.
After dealing with their products firsthand, I think it’s safe to say they are a lower tier quality company, selling at upper tier prices.
I watched a video comparing a bunch of other rock lights, and many looked the same as these and were cheaper btw, you can get this same garbage coming out of the same factory in china for cheaper off eBay or Amazon.
BTW these are universal products, and do not fit a gladiator. They have four 6.5’ leads and four 10’ leads. If you wire the box to your aux switches under hood, there is no way they will reach past the rear doors. I ran the wires down the firewall on each side and down the frame rails.

646B5B20-9019-4453-9485-B922673A75B0.jpeg

Awesome, don’t reach the rear. So they do sell 6ft extensions for $9 a piece?.
Also, I thought it would be easier if I mounted these with magnets. I should’ve DIY’d it but ordered their magnet mounts for $11.66 a piece. Trouble is, the screws included aren’t long enough to go through the magnet and bracket.
?
B14E06A9-F52C-4611-B932-4F43578690BC.jpeg
I googled and their answer is to clamp/compress the rubber mounts until the screws catch the nut.
42512CAC-8867-4DB8-9062-E7750A9D18EA.jpeg
I farted around for an hour trying to mcguyver this until I just stopped trying to get the nuts to capture, and ordered longer m4x0.7 22mm screws from McMaster (93395A264).
So after ordering 4 extensions, and new screws, I got everything together to actually run wire.
Now, I ordered these lights because I thought it would be nice to be able to change the color, though TBH I will probably just either run amber or red at night.
Soooo the Oracle app wouldn’t connect or control the lights and upon connecting they would just rotate colors like old Christmas lights.
Googled again, they recommend a different app that usually works (HappyLighting). Success! Another 30mins of screwing around and I got the lights to work.
However, I’m not happy with the color selection of these now $320 lights.
They have separate RGB bulbs and to make other colors they blend like a color wheel, except you can see the separate red/green bulbs or whatever.
207DCCD0-BC26-465E-81CE-162A60B5DCC0.jpeg

So there’s my amber that I was hoping to run ? (fart noise).
At least pure red looks ok since it’s not blended .
F157B631-BC70-4D35-BE0F-A3C3B65D52C2.jpeg

so these altogether cost me ~$320. For only red lights..
As a comparison, I could order any generic $100 kit from Amazon and still piece together stuff..
Or, order a quality KC C-series RGB 6pc kit for $229, which is similar to this but better quality for sure.
A baller KC cyclone 6pc kit $319 has 16, 11, 8ft cords. Pretty much nailed it for the gladiator. Magnets and colored lenses add $53, $372 total. Would definitely do this if I started over.
(Also Lux 8pc lights are $449. Nice but I think I’d do KC. FYI an 8pc magnetic KC cyclone kit is $486 priced out. 6pc probably fine?).
There are many kinds of “fart noises” for reference. Can you please be more specific to the one ?that correctly applies to this situation? Sorry, not sorry.
