Am I the only one getting really annoyed with these ads? It was tolerable before, but now we have to deal with pop ups every time.
At what point do the moderators say enough is enough?
Why would mods have a say or anything to do with it?
Are you willing to help pay the bills?

Installed DesertDoesIt Shorty Seat Jackers, and discovered that my 22 JTR factory seat bolts have E10 heads instead of Torx. It took me longer to run to the hardware store for the sockets than it did to install the seat jackers. Took a short test drive and the change in angle of the seat feels like a winner .... making the drive to UGA for G-Day in a few weeks so we'll see if they are comfortable for long trips too!
Go Dawgs!

Google chrome & settings for ads has always been off.
pretty soon there wont even be a forum, it will just be all ads
Odd, I use Chrome and adblock and ghostery. Pretty much no ads on my PC or Chromebook (which inherits settings from my PC via Chrome)
On my phone, I might get an ad, but not in my way. I can scroll past it.

We tried the ad thing on the forum I admin, but it was a lot of work keeping up with the ads and contacts and such so we went an all volunteer support scheme - people donate to keep it going. It takes money and we're small running cheap software and inexpensive hosting so I can only imagine what it costs to keep this place going.

You have to have an add-in to block ads. Chrome by itself only does so much. I've found it takes two plug-ins to do a good job.
I allow ads on my phone (because they aren't that intrusive) and don't block as much on my chromebook in the settings on it. I don't mind seeing some now and then - it's how things work. No ads, no forum.

Posted it elsewhere but I changed my oil. Let it go to 17% and that is WAAY too long an interval. Checked my records to find is was over 11,000 miles in between. I'm NOT happy with myself for procrastinating.

Fujimoto valve installed at last change. Makes for a very clean, very hassle free change.

That is pretty clean for 11K mile oil. What is your driving mix between city/highway?

Even better, buy the hose attachment. I don’t even use an oil pan, I drain straight into an empty 5L oil jug then put in the new one. One less thing to clean up!

Bought and installed two extra tie down cleats for the trail rail. Another forum member posted the link to these from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B7HQP862?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

I was about to buy the Tacoma ones, but I read from a few comments that they work but that they don't quite fit the same (looser?). These were pretty cheap. Not very often that I need tie downs in the front of the bed, but the couple times I did, it was a pain to relocate the side ones to the front. The Mopar rail system "traps" the cleats in the rails, so I had to remove the tie downs for the bed cover.

They look nearly identical to the Mopar ones, even down to the wording, lettering, and font. The plastic even "feels" the same (texture and density). Amazon one on the left.

Finally finished up installing the Armorlite flooring system. Man those trim pieces when reinstalling are a pain the boooootay.

Looks great and can't wait to see how much of an improvement Armorlite and the sheets of Butyl I added.

Next up will be the Coverking Headliner.

Got the second sheet on my ground plane mounted. The aluminum cutting was without drama. The filing to fit after was tedious. Realized that my choice to make them easily removable with rivnuts underneath was a wise choice. The roof rack is a bit heavier and more unwieldy with the panels on. It will be easier just to place the panels on the roof rack when it is on the truck and bolt them down to the rivnuts. Easier to remove for maintenance too.

I installed a Rugged Ridge Voyager soft top this weekend. Not everyone's cup o tea but I love the utilitarian look of it. The installation was a major pain though!! These companies must hire elementary school kids to write the installation instructions. I can fully understand why there are so many negative reviews in regards to the installation. But I now how to do it if anyone needs pointers.
