the Rubicon with factory 4.88s, a 5.13 first gear (manual) and a 4:1 xfer case is already at 100:1, but did they ditch the garbage 3.45s on the other trims?
I was referring to automatic transmission numbers, which is 96:1. Since the manuals might be gone after the recent recall issue. Who knows though. The other trims are 3.73 currently, but I don’t know. I assume Rubi only though.

Maybe I missed it, but what's the meaning behind the picture showing no driver, 68 mph & 2k rpm on the main gauges, while the center screen shows front & rear axles locked as well as sway bar disconnected?

Gladiators are 3.73s (except for Mojave/Rubi/MaxTow) but even the Willys Wrangler is saddled with garbage 3.45s and the M186. Was hoping for some info on that front. With a rear locker and 4.10s on a willys, you are truly at Rubi-lite.

No worries. Hoping some of this trickles down to the gladiator soon. The full floater is a nice touch, but the gladiators really need a better gas engine too.

Jeep actually says 34" of waterfording on the power seats, basically water tight short of straight submerging the entire bottom cushion.
That makes sense based on the power seats I've seen in other vehicles. If the RSE power steps and other such devices can run after being in water, so can any seat that's designed to be water proof to a certain degree.

A full floating axle has a separate hub and axle shaft assembly where the hub is supported by a spindle and a pair of wheel bearings. The design puts the weight of the Jeep on the axle tube instead of the shaft.
They over-simplified that............ But whatever.
I wonder what the maintenance interval will be for those rear hubs since they won't be lubed by the differential lube. It's going to be more like the front hubs have been in 4 wheel drive vehicles for decades.
They'll be strong for sure, and take more of a beating with two bearings and basically no "leverage" on the axle, only twisting forces.

Magic eraser? Probably taken with a Google Pixel 7 and got rid of the driver.

A lot of cool stuff being added to the Wranglers for sure.

We'll see how the next couple years go. If the big screen and power seats roll over to the Gladiator, I may re-buy my truck with the new features and a couple things I've learned.

Or just stop getting new rides every few years and learn to love one long term

lol i love the difference between this forum and the JL forum. Most people here are very excited for the changes and hope to see them come to the Gladiator.

On the JL forum it's a good 50% complaints, many about false or exaggerated claims.
Like Jeep made a statement that all models would be electrified by 2025. That doesn't mean every car they sell will be electric it just means there will be a 4xe or EV option on the Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Wagoneer, etc.
Or people complaining about those center vents saying they won't work as well. Like how tf you know that.

I'm really curious to see what comes to the Gladiator. TBH I'm likely selling mine. I'm very interested in a Wrangler 392, especially now with red seats ?

Jeep had a reveal in NYC today as well, you can see the actual dash in the part of vid with Jim Morrison in Moab. My guess is the new interior will start popping up in Moab and photos/vids today (skip to 24:15, the forum doesnt let me add a direct link)

Kind of impressed. Would be happy if even half that got to the Gladiator.

Can really tell Jeep is feeling the heat from the Bronco taking a lot of thunder away from the Wrangler causing them to up their game.

Improvements to the Willys would be where I am at if I was to go back to a Wrangler JL.
I think you are right. The introduction of factory 35's is the most direct response to the "Sasquatch" edition, but the full float D44s are definitely geared towards having a clear leg up for the off road demographic. I'm not sure the Bronco has a way to compete with that.

That earl on red looks f*cking AWESOME imo. I think Earl may be my new favorite JL/JT color. The mantis green leather looks awesome as well imo. I could not care less about the new screen.

I'd love to be able to retrofit the side airbags, power seats, and grill into my JT. Then the only thing I'd have to complain about would be the Pentastar lol.
