Add me to the list.

Threw a fuel system lean code today which is a precursor to the pump failure. The code cleared itself but the pressures aren’t right. I swapped for a 2023 Rubicon gasser. Less headaches and wondering if today is the day.

The dealer paid full rate for mine and knocked $14k off the 2023. I’m swapping over all my goodies tomorrow and will drop the other off on Saturday.

Bummer. There she blows! Good luck with the gasser.

Still hoping for a solid and reliable fix for the HPFP.

Y’all are making me paranoid. I have so much money in upgrades on this truck I couldn’t imagine taking a buy back hit.

Appearantly, the trick is fuel filter with every oil change (roughly every 5k) and some diesel additive to deal with the low sulfur diesel.

Yep, I do the double dose of EDT with every fill up and I’m on my third fuel filter at this point. I think I’m okay, but I think the forum tends to focus on the issues, I think it is still only about a 1% of the all units sold actually having a failure.

Sounds like you're in a solid place and been proactive with your rig.

Which reminds me I need to buy an oil filter

What is "full rate," and you're saying that a related code which self-cleared was all that was needed to trigger a buyback?
And 14k off new?

I would do this deal if I could order it. I love the diesel but once you get past the nominal performance/ mileage gains, you're left with the novelty, and more maintenance and failure potential.

That is a pretty good dealer letting you have both the purchase and trade vehicle at home at the same time for a bit to transfer your stuff.

Full rate meaning nearly what I paid. Not a buy back but a buyout. $11,900 off plus $100 over cost on other items equaling out to $14k off sticker.

I've purchased a few jeeps from them so they said to bring it back in a few days once I swapped over what I wanted.

For reference, the fender lights are a pain to swap with big hands.

For those of you that have had the issues causing the vehicle inoperative, would you be able to flat tow it? I would imagine you would still be able to go to accessory mode, put the trans case in neutral and tranny in park, and flat tow this back to base with your RV. I am taking a trip to Yellowstone and am hesitating taking the JT and may take the JLUR instead. It did make me wonder whether it could be flat towed if inoperable.
