I was pretty excited, bought some Rock Hard Patriot sliders today, and naturally the first ******* bolt I try to remove may have broken...

**** EDIT, a little more heat + downward pressure = it's out

Those bolts are not fun. Good work.

The back one sucked until I got heat on it, but that front bolt, goodness gracious... The guy who installed that better hope we never meet because it's going to be ON SIGHT. It's like they had a quota to meet with the amount of red loctite they use, so he dumped the last 1/4 gallon on that bolt

Had to get the kid, so I'll be doing the passenger side tonight (with a couple drinks, I think)

Yep mine was that ways as well lol. I did snap 1 bolt, definitely ducked and repaired took about 1 hour.

Switched out the Method 305NV (red) wheels to the Method 703s (bead grips).

Will be switching the American Adventure Labs front chop kit to @Metalcloak's fender gut kit with lights, to match my suspension. For my front fenders, I gutted the inner fender well's, and that's why there may appear to be a bigger space than normal. A little disappointed with AALab's quality of the lights.

Glad that Metalcloak is able to take care of veterans like myself! (Shoutout to Bobby!)

Great work. Now go scratch them. :)
You know, I never really cared for rock crawling, but now that they're on..... Might have to give it a go lol

I was just praying a bolt didn't snap. Did you have to cut into the floor at all? I read about 200 horror stories yesterday while I was panicking :D

I'll have to check that tomorrow, I bet that's what's been rattling over bumps on my truck as well!
When you go under there, you can rattle them against the bracket. I had my spare off so I was going around checking exhaust hangers, the spare shield, skid plates, etc. This bracket and the disk break dust shields were the only thing rattling. The tailgate, latch also seemed good. Still the sound when the rear bumper drops off a speed bump sounded different. It really sounded like something in the suspension, like a spring rattling. But the e-brake lines are somewhat spring like under tension. This ended up being it. I wish I had crawled under their earlier and checked more than just control arm bolts.
Thank you. I have the same annoying sound. I will check that asap

-update. Mine was rubbing the gas tank shield so I bent the hanger back. Hopefully that was it.

That line can rattle back and forth in the hanger itself. That’s what was making noise in my case. I didn’t have the fuel tank issue, but mines a diesel so I believe the tank is in a different place.

I am picking up a ARE Bed Topper (Camper Shell). Same roof height as the hard top. Complete with lining inside, LED lights and locks with keys.

Its a different color and will be immediately stripped when home and a Raptor Lining done to it by Monday evening.

More tedious boring stuff. Debadged and rebadged the driver side Jeep logo to fix the crookedness from factory, and spacing with BOH badges. Then added the first BOH badges to the passenger side. Two of them from Arkansas are still backordered. Seems simple, but I was dreading it. Took 2-3 hours per side of the Jeep. I did the passenger side a few days ago.

Bent this sway bar link at Jeep Jamboree in N AL a couple weeks ago. Hit the rock so hard it also deformed the frame mount. So, I thought now was a good time to install a Hellwig rear sway bar and Rusty's Sway Bar Double Sheer Mount. And it's done!

I added a winch solenoid last night, and mapped it to an aux switch.

Umm, looks like the original reached 99 pages and was closed for more replies. So keep posting here!

I had tint done to front 2 windows, bug deflector installed, wayout style wrap installed, tires cleaned. 303 applied to tonneau cover.

EDIT: forgot to mention possibly the most important mod, ceramic coated grille, grille guard, and double ceramic coated windshield. FU bugs! Try sticking to all my ceramic now..... Stupid bugs.

Still waiting on Mopar performance rock rails and new wheels to show. Have had the rock rails on order for 2 months from BAM auto parts and ready to give up and cancel the order and maybe try another supplier
