Dropped it off to get the 2” Mopar lift, Fox shocks, Fuel wheels, Nitto RG tires, side steps and tint.
I have had it for 8 days, just needed to do something different to it ?

SOOOOO much cleaner looking IMHO than the NFab steps that the P.O. had half-assed installed (only 2/3 of the bolts were used) since almost none of it lined up well with the factory holes/mounting points. Plus, now I don't have a step rubbing on my leg every time I climb in/out.
The weight seemed about the same. Not too much change there. Did have to buy ~$40 in grade 8 SS bolts/nuts to reinstall the factory rails.

Also, since my better half damaged/broke the passenger side sun visor (a very common problem I have read), I bought & installed the aluminum supports that they *SHOULD* have come from the factory with. Easy ~$13 fix.

Installed my new Sheer Comfort seat covers. Super easy install, fitment is light years better than the universal covers I had on previously.

The job foreman approves as well!

Finally regeared to 5.13s from 4.10 and moved up to 38s from 37s. Currently breaking in the gears but I love it so far.

What is the RPM difference once you’re at speed? Were you having issues with seeing 8th before the regear? I am getting ready to put the 3.5 Clayton on next week, I currently have 35 inch KO2s on my JTR. I am hoping to be able to stick with them for a little bit still, but 37’s are coming, on my JKU I regeared to 5.13 but it was a 2010 with the 3.8 and 5 speed auto. Just trying to get some opinions from those that have made the change, thanks.

Last night I cleaned the interior. Washed the floormats. Emptied the stuff that had been collected in the doors and console. Cleaned the inside windows.

The past few days I've been going through the "emergency" stuff. Decided we don't need to store rain coats anymore (15" of precipitation for the year now, instead of 40"+).

Went through the bin that holds the winch remote, work gloves, and rachet straps. We have 2 Flambeau bins that *just* fit under the rear seat (link below). The other bin holds some water bottles, bug spray, sunscreen, trashbag, gloves for cold weather.

Pulled out the center console bag that hangs between the seats. Between the bag and the center console, I pulled 7-8 sunglasses that belong to my wife. "I need a spare!" So now the bag has our 2 sunglasses cases (*A* spare is in there), 20k mAh battery bank, and "drug" bag. Naproxen, cold meds, gum, and a few others.

That's it. Room to put an iPad if we need to bring it along.

I have to dig through our bins in the garage to get the winter gear and recovery gear out. I need to find a compactable down jacket that's inexpensive. I don't need to store a "just in case" TNF $300 jacket.

I saw 8th pretty often on the flats here in Phx but any incline it would downshift. With the 5.13s it holds 8th like nothing and plenty of power on the inclines where it doesn’t downshift like it used to.
I’m still breaking it in but around 65mph it’s hovering around 2100 rpm. I’m glad I went with 5.13.
