I’m too lazy to drive a manual. If there was a manual option, I would have gotten the diesel.....
Nice looking setup, nice picture, makes me jealous.Hell yes I would buy it again. I sold a LJ for $25,000 so the cost was offset a little. I wash it weekly and drive it 28 miles to the beach 2-3 days a week. I occasionally sleep in the camper and it runs great with 37’s. It makes retirement happy!

I could imagine that the wear on the clutch would be quite high.If there was a manual option, I would have gotten the diesel.....
Semi trucks are all manual, just build a decent clutch and you're fine. They didn't do it because they knew the amount of diesel versions they were going to sell would be small, and the manual versions of those would be even smaller. Everyone complains about no manuals, but nobody buys....I could imagine that the wear on the clutch would be quite high.
Maybe that's the reason they didn't offer a stick shift.
Every manufacturer is getting away from manuals with their diesels. With the auto trannies. They can control the amount of torque better going through the tranny with torque management programming.Semi trucks are all manual, just build a decent clutch and you're fine. Save the manuals!!
Same here. I was really bummed when they announced no manual for the diesel. Complicated and expensive emissions systems turned me off after that. I’m pretty happy with the 3.6 manual though, but diesel paired with the manual would have been icing on the cake.If there was a manual option, I would have gotten the diesel.....
this guy...........always this guy hahahaAbsolutely! If I had the funds I'd buy a second one and put it in storage.
