I installed the external speaker for the FTM200. I had a friend 3D print the box, which was going to go above the rear view mirror but I made a small miscalculation. It has an amp in it but the volume control extends either down or up and that makes it not fit in the spot. I will power it using the lighter tap setup when it shows up Saturday but for now, it's plugged into the lighter plug. I used a TV sound bar speaker and a mono amp from Amazon and made my own grille. Really makes a difference.

Santa brought the Mojave a Banks Pedal Monster to eliminate the sluggish acceleration, and Rudolph got a little sweet discount on the Weather HP floorliners (full set), and PowerStop Z36 Extreme Tow/Truck front/rear brakes coming in today.
  • Beyond impressed with the @BanksPower Pedal Monster. Nothing too serious, just set to City level 3-4, is perfect. I have noticed a decrease in MPG, but also note that the Mojave has 35s, and weight of a RSI Smartcap. (My Fiancé did compliment the Jeep finally and said it's smooth, so that's pretty sweet on the brownie points.)
  • The Pedal Monster does have a reverse safety feature, so I didn't go full blown backing into the bank while wiping my tears paying for this Jeep.
  • Decided to test out the WeatherTech HP Liners on my Elk Hunt, and man, these are such an upgrade from the Jeep Mopar Factory Sets that came with the Jeep. (These might still be on sale at ExtremeTerrain for a great price. I think they run about $200 plus for a full set)
  • Also bought the Door Hinge Steps from BodyArmor4x4, but I am struggling to get these bolts loose on the Mojave. I might just end up taking the loss as I have been reading how these hinge bolts are a pain, but hold my beer..
Thanks. :handsinair:

It hasn’t been back to the dealer since I bought it, but after two years of ownership and 50k miles I thought it was time to get all the recalls taken care of.

It didn’t cost me a dime and they even charged my A/C and rebalanced my wheels since I had to wait two days to get the truck back.

Which is great, because with that money saved I might finally order the Yeti Griffin attenuator drag link that’s been hanging out in my Northridge cart.

However, if it’s snake oil, I’ll probably go with Synergy. Would be curious if anyone has had experience with either/both

It’s not snake oil. I absolutely love mine. It’s absolutely noticeable.

Replaced rear brake lines, which were too short for the current lift with Metalcloak. Changed transfer case fluid and diff fluid, front and rear. It was a very nice maintenance day with @Mightytalldude, who also did diff fluid and transfer case fluid changes.

Extremely thankful to do it in 55°+ sunny weather, in a garage. If we tried at your place, we would have been frozen popsicles and definitely not close to as much done. Add that to the oil change I did yesterday, and the new grill insert today, and I felt productive, plus saved a ton of $$, which is always top of my list of things to do.

Exactly. It was below zero when I left my house. It was summer at yours. Sorry I kept spilling things. :)

Good to know. It’s been hard finding any firsthand experience online with the JL and JT version. I could really only find posts about the smaller JK version.

Have you had any problems with it since you installed it? Local Jeepers say they’re for “women and liberals who can’t hold their steering wheel straight.” So, it would be nice to hear actual rational feedback

Ridiculous. It genuinely takes care of almost all of the wheel shimmy stuff. It’s really nice actually. For the naysayers, it prevents terrible jolts to the pitman arm from the passenger front wheel.

I wanted trail parts for rebuilding a broken drag link on the trail. I bought the attenuator for the center section, and stacked the straight section for the trail spare. But I liked it so much, it made me a believer.
