Hi, like most of you, I have a multitude of parts and upgrades on my JT. I recently reached out to USAA my insurer with the hope of getting additional coverage after clarifying that USAA would only cover parts that were OEM and not anything beyond that. I have been with USAA for about 30 years and have multiple vehicles and other policies with them but may consider leaving them. Insurance has gotten extremely expensive in all policies and wondering what you are all seeing.
I suppose it's one thing to have to replace a light bar or puddle lights but if you are driving an AMW swap or something with 10s of thousands in parts and not having adequate coverage it could become an issue.
Just reaching out to the community to see if this is something common or other insurers offer? Do you suck it up and hope you never get in an accident (?).
