Newbie here, got my 2020 sport s w 5200 miles a couple weeks ago. so far have installed Rubicon takeoff rims /33" tires, Rubicon rock rails, apex disconnects, dead pedal, door sill covers Next project is engine /trans skid, rear control arm body skids and shopping the tonneau market. any big issues w stock Mopar hard folder? Really excited to start new project, wife's KK is still lots of fun w lift ,skids, and gears /true track in rear. stealth mode, it surprises a lot of folks when we roll up on the difficult trails.

Keep at it. You need practice. Get some scrap metal and weld on it. Try some 7018 Low H. It flows better. When you have your amps set right. It should sound like bacon and eggs frying.

If when you think you are really good. Use 308 in the 6G position and weld some carbon pipe with a double V groove with a 1/16" gap.
I’m not helping myself, no welding table and using a 110V stick welder topping out at 80amps.
Still enough to scare the hell out of me!
Tried some 6011, and bejeebus that stuff is messy. Felt like proton pack

Installed a J&L oil separator can. Much easier to install than I anticipated. Hardest part was removing the original semi-rigid tubing, which had to be snaked out. J&L did a really nice job of providing just the right length of hoses, end fittings, and a mounting bracket.

I saw this on Amazon after I received it (I live in California).

I'm cert'ed with stick, tig, mig, all positions, pulse tig, flux core, sub arc. Have R and U welding stamps. Welded on most types of metal that you can think of.

Maybe no 10mm, but did you lose a nut behind the kick panel like most of us. ……………..or maybe that was just me.
Wait! There is a nut? I did something wrong! Actually this install is the extent of my mechanical abilities.

Not to it per se, but working on a little DIY project for it. Learning how to weld?‍?. This is after oh I dunno, 9 or 10 passes with some 6013. Whaddya think??

It’ll look great after the grinder, more welding, the grinder, more welding, the flap wheel, body filler, primer, and paint.

Just like my welding. :)

Went the cheap route and bolted some fork mounts on a couple 2x4s so I could throw the bikes in the bed. With the cover off I can close the tailgate, but I’d rather leave it on and strap the rear wheels down so I can cover the bed at the beach while riding.

Finding, getting and quitting jobs. Because they all suck.
This... For some reason this plug started hitting the toe of my clutch foot and saw it was hanging by two little wires going up into the dash. Just a typical Alaskan fix for just about anything that breaks!

Looks good and cheap and removable. What's not to like? Why is the frame so beefy? Are those batteries?
