Can you be more specific?Took mine to the dealer to get the oil changed, tired rotated and have an issue looked for.
There were no codes to pull, which didn't surprise me.
I've had what I believe to be the ABS pump (grinding/pulsing sound) randomly kick on for a few seconds for what appears to be no reason. It happened in the past while I was having ABS, traction control, service 4wd lights coming on.
Dealer replaced wheel speed sensor and 4wd sensor and some pigtails. Then I went 2ish months with no issues. Couple weekends ago while coming home in a rain storm the grinding sound returned, but no warning lights.
They didn't see anything obvious, nothing loose, etc.
They did find this...![]()
Picture doesn't look as bad as in person. No ill effects, but it'll need replaced.
Guess I know what I'll be researching next.
About the dented steering stabilizer, or about something else? Can you be more specific?
I was trying to figure out what we were looking at. Now that you say that, I see it. FWIW, Iād not spend the money on an Oem replacement. If you want an Oem one though, you can have mine for free plus shipping.About the dented steering stabilizer, or about something else?
I appreciate the offer. I'm gonna take it as an opportunity to upgrade and go with a high mount.I was trying to figure out what we were looking at. Now that you say that, I see it. Looks really good how much lift did you get in the front and rear.Took a lot of research, and a ton of planning - but two days ago it came together -
- Clayton 2.5" Overland + lift w/ Falcon SP2 3.3 shocks and Steering Stabilizer w/ relocation bracket
- Curry Currect-Lync steering system
- Toyo Open Country AT3's (5) 35x11.50R17
- Rock Hard Patriot Sliders
- Racho Diff Skids
- Tazer Mini
Loving everything so far. The gladiator looks like a jeep should now.....

The speaker in the dash and the smaller one in the sound bar are in fact the same speaker, at least they were in mine. I installed those same Kenwood speakers in the sound bar and there wasn't much of a difference to me so I returned them and went a different direction. BTW mine has the upgraded Alpine system so not sure how much difference that makes.I thought this too when I initially saw Crutchfield.com recommending them for the sound bar. But people on the forum have done the same install with positive results. I think replacing the ones in the dash make the biggest difference though and adding them to the sound bar is much less noticeable. We shall seeā¦
Keep in mind though, Iām just going off YouTube videos, product reviews, and forum testimonies. Iām no sound or speaker expert AT ALL
Edit: I also saw a video where a guy showed the smaller OEM speaker in the soundbar and it looked exactly like the OEM dash speaker. Maybe they are the same. Iāll check the part numbers when I pull them tomorrow. I should also mention that I have the regular, non-alpine sound system
Yup same speaker in mine too. However, it was a pretty solid improvement adding them to the sound bar as well. The speaker in the dash and the smaller one in the sound bar are in fact the same speaker, at least they were in mine.
