I have this one installed and hooked up to one of my aux switches to power on and off.

It’s on the left with the red connector caps on top
I just hooked mine up yesterday. It's just kind of sitting there. How did you secure it?

Same thing. I just have it wedged in there to the left of my VoSwitch.
it’s not going anywhere. If I ever come up with a good bracket I’ll add that but I’m not worried about it.

I just finished my install and used the CentralAK bracket with a disconnect switch, great solution. I was going to go with the solenoid install but it was heavy and looking for a good place to mount it. Decided to go with this solution and very happy with it, it is simple, will be dependable and all the connections are covered. The bracket was well made and powder coated.

Technically it’s 15 or 40 amp. 15 is more than plenty to switch a relay like this, if you want to save the 40 amp circuits for other things that might need it

my Understanding is my aux switches have 2 ratings, either 15 or 45 amp. Which do I hook to?

Similar to the one shown above, I modelled and 3D Printed a mount for my cutoff switch. Then went back and added a spot to mount the switch for my under hood lights as well.

I didn't like the "automatic" plunger to turn the hood lights on when open. Was finicky and not a great place to mount them. This puts the switches right next to the battery and has the available ground lugs needed for the hood lights

Yeah, short distance for power to the switch for the lights, as well as ground being right there almost next to it.
