If it's always at 14v, that means your battery/batteries are never getting to full charge. Smart alternators should switch to float voltage on a healthy and charged battery system.
Question, How long will it take to get batteries fully charged, 1 hr , 2 hr drives or more ?

so i did the aux battery delete by hooking the aux (+) to the main (+) and wrapping the aux (-) in tape. when i was doing this i checked the high amp fuse and N3 was blown (new fuse has been ordered) and i removed fuse 47. when i started the jeep up it jumped right up to 14.2volts and got the same old ESS error. did i miss anything??
i'm letting it sit to see if something is still draining the battery or if its "normal"
i did upgrade the main battery to the larger battery and did the same with the alternator

everything looks like its working like it should only thing is the AC will not work at all now

F42! Unless that was a typo, f47 is a spare. In your case after finding N3 blown, I would start over. Charge both batteries independently of each other. All fuses reinstalled and IBS connector removed during the charging. After replacing the fuse array, and reconnecting both charged batteries, reconnect the IBS connector. Disregard all previous testing results and move on from here.

Yep, no evidence here that you have a bad battery or should bypass anything. You likely just blew the fuse during replacement. Get everything back to how it should be, double-check all your connections and ensure nothing is shorting out, and start again.

I assume you meant fuse 42? When I did my aux battery delete (truck died at 8V) as I was backing in my driveway), I pulled fuse 42 and just taped off aux battery negative cable. I had to pull the positive battery lead off the main battery for 5+ minutes and my ESS stop light went out. Got about 2 months out of that fix before my main battery finally went (2021 bought in Oct 2020). All my dashboard lights went on, headlamps flashing, heater wouldn't run and voltage gauge was over 16V. Replaced main battery with group 94 and all is good again. No issues since then.
Hope you get it figured out soon.

If you hook the aux (+) to the main (+), you've bypassed the N3 fuse and it has no affect on the system whether it's blown or not.

I had this thread saved for when the time came for me to replace my battery.

When you replaced yours with a group 94 battery and pulled fuse #42, did the auto stop/start continue to work?

Everything on the truck continues to work as designed including the stop/start.

Yes its supposed to function like normal. However, in my climate here in Michigan, its too cold for the stop start system to engage (heater, heated seats, heated mirrors on). I'll find out in the spring. hahahah
