So when I bought my used 22 JTRD the start/stop never worked. I just have the message that says "Stop / Start not ready battery charging"
I mentioned it to my local dealer and he stated that I must need batteries so they replaced both of them under warranty.
I picked it up yesterday and it still displays the message. Once I drive it for a few minutes it goes off and the stop/start feature starts working.
My question is, is that normal? I find it hard to believe that it takes a minute or two of the engine running before it works? On your guys trucks does it work from the moment of start up?
I'm half expecting the dealer to tell me it's normal so I figured I'd ask you guys.
