Looking to level my 2024 Gladiator Sport S (non-Max Tow). I hate squat, so I’d rather keep a slight rake than risk the front sitting higher. Just want it close to level since the stock rake is too much. Goal is to run 285/70R17 with no rubbing at full flex. Thinking maybe a ½” spacer up front—anyone done this?

Why would you look at leveling kids if you don't want to level. Look at spacer lift kits that use the same size front and rear spacer. The AEV 2" kit was great on my truck before I went to 3.5" springs but 2" might be more than what you're looking for. If you only want 1" all the way around I'd just order front and rear 1" spacers and can it a day.

I do want to level, I just want to make sure not to over do it. Might just do 1/2 inch on front 1/4 inch on back

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to level my 2024 Gladiator Sport S (non–Max Tow), but I’m really concerned about squat when the bed is loaded. I can’t stand the look of squat, so I’d rather keep a little nose-down rake than risk the front sitting higher than the rear.

I’ve been looking at the Teraflex 1.5” leveling kit (actually 1” front / 0.5” rear), but I’m worried that’s too much since it’s a net –0.5” change in rake. Does anyone know the factory rake measurement on a 2024 Sport S without Max Tow? I’ve heard different numbers (some say 1.25”, some say closer to 0.5”), and that makes a big difference.

I plan on running 285/70R17s (basically Rubicon size), so I don’t want the tires to look too small if the front comes up too much. Would I be better off just doing a small 1/4” spacer up front to trim the rake a little and call it a day?

Any input or real-world pics would be a huge help. Thanks!

Just realized the Teraflex 1.5" level actually comes with two spacers up front: a 1" and a 0.5". You can stack them for the full 1.5", or just run the 1" by itself. I’ll probably go with just the 1" to start so I still keep some rake, but at least I’ll be able to comfortably throw on some 33s.

Interesting that you want to level while maintain rake... contradictive but ok. If I understand correctly, you want as close to level unloaded, and don't want to squat to negative rake when loaded, is this correct?

You're really not going to achieve this just by leveling kits or spacers. You're just going to chase rake and levels back and forth because whatever you do to the rear is going to affect the front and vice-versa. Spacers in the rear, now you have more squat before you get negative rake, but unloaded you have a lot more positive rake. Add spacers to the front to take away some of that positive rake, but now you've essentially put yourself right back to where you started, you're just a half inch higher. The only way you're going to achieve what you want is

A) run a higher rate rear spring with levelers/spacers up front. This way your rear spring won't compress as easily with weight.

B) run rear bags and air up when loaded.

Why wouldn't you just measure what you have to begin with so you know exactly what you are dealing with to begin with ?

Leveling without getting rid of the rake is just a lift lol.

Idk, they're Jeeps, not reusable self landing re-entry rockets.

Some spacer up front, some spacer out back, just maffs, not fusion.

I put in the Sumo Spings (blue) in the rear that replace the rear bump stops.
Work well to help with load squat.
I also did 3/4 inch daystar lift front and bsck for a bit more lift.

How much rake do you actually have?? Did you ever try putting 200+lbs in the bed and drive around for a week? Sometimes all you need is a little weight to get the suspension to settle.

I have no idea what kind of springs you have …and how they compare to say….springs off a Mojave? Could you swap springs with another model?

In my opinion…. I’d save your $$ and leave it alone. The amount of time, effort, and $ you’d put into It…. There’s a high probability it still won’t turn out exactly how you want it.
