- Lift pump??
This may not be a problem in the future, but I've seen the Mopar lift pump on nationwide backorder a few different times. It might be a good idea to keep a lift pump on hand once you get closer to 150,000 miles.

I thought the EcoD in the Gladi didn't use a lift pump?

Am I the only MF'er here who checks his DEF gauge? Running out of DEF is about as dumb as running out of fuel.
It would be purely neglect to run out of DEF since the system issues a low-level warning. I typically top mine off when it gets down to the 1/2 mark.

I also highly recommend using Rislone DEF & SCR Cleaner every 5,000 miles. This stuff is magic in the bottle.

T-Mobile now uses T-Satellite when you're outside of cell service. 👍

I had one of the original key fobs fail. After taking it apart, I noticed that one of the contacts had separated. Since the truck is a daily driver, I decided it was time to order two new Mopar key fobs. I then used AlfaOBD to program them.

All EcoDiesels use an in-tank lift pump and a CP4 High Pressure Fuel Pump.

T-Mobile and me had to part ways. No nice words can proceed from the tips of my thumbs in their regard.

According to the Google and looking through Mopar parts diagrams, the Gladiator does not use a lift pump, only the high pressure CP4. Google is known to be wrong, but I can't find anything on it in parts diagrams.

Edit: wait, parts manuals weren't loading completely and wasn't showing in tank pump/sending units.

Here's what the lift pump looks like:

Yeah it's weird, I was researching these a while back and kept coming up with nothing, and combined with Google stating the gladi doesn't have a lift pump so I just assumed they didn't. Turns out it depends which computer I use if the parts catalogs fully load. Work laptop, nope doesn't fully load, personal surface pro and then it fully loads.

Strange.

Mopar lift pumps are actually fairly reliable long-lasting pumps, but they are not always fun to replace. In the Rams, some people choose to lift the bed, and others choose to drop the tank. Nonetheless, it's something I would personally replace at 150,000 miles as preventative maintenance.

Fleece actually makes a very good lift pump for the 2014 - 2019 EcoDiesel, which is what I'll be putting in my 2015.

"Upgrade your 2014-2018 Ram 1500 3.0L EcoDiesel with the Fleece Performance PowerFlo Lift Pump In-Tank Pump Assembly, this replacement lift pump delivers the performance and reliability you need without the headaches of traditional high flow lift pump installations.

The PowerFlo Lift Pump is a direct OEM in-tank replacement, retaining your factory tank, harness and lines. With seamless integration, it installs in a fraction of the time compared to other lift pumps, eliminating the need for tank sumps, draw straws, or extra air filtration. It's active fill bucket ensures consistent fuel delivery without the dreaded 1/4 tank issues.

Featuring dual gerotor pumps, the PowerFlo doubles the flow capacity and boosts reliability. For those running custom fuel setups, the pump outlet and return are threaded to accept -8 (ORB) O-ring fittings (3/4"-16 thread). Built to handle tough conditions and validated for use with up to 20% biodiesel, the PowerFlo operates at a steady 68-70 psi at idle, ensuring your truck gets the fuel it needs to power through every job. It’s time to ditch the old system and step up to Fleece Performance’s best-in-class lift pump solution."

I'm using Platinum DEF. Are you as well and using the DEF Crystal Clean every 5k Miles?

I use both Platinum and Rislone DEF & SCR Cleaner. And yes, I try to stick to that 5,000-mile recommendation. The 2015 Ram has an 8-gallon DEF tank and the 2020 Ram and 2023 Jeep EcoDiesels have a 5-gallon tank. I use one bottle per vehicle.

Between three vehicles, we've been averaging just over 2 gallons of DEF per month. Starting in 2026, I'll separate DEF usage based on vehicle.

2018 DEF Consumption: 12.5 gallons (1.05 gallons per month)
2019 DEF Consumption: 15 gallons (1.25 gallons per month)
2020 DEF Consumption: 10.5 gallons (.09 gallon per month)
2021 DEF Consumption: 25 gallons (2.08 gallons per month)
2022 DEF Consumption: 25 gallons (2.08 gallons per month)
2023 DEF Consumption: 27.5 gallons (2.29 gallons per month)
2024 DEF Consumption: 25 gallons (2.08 gallons per month)
