115v Bed Outlet

I purchased the 115v 400w inverter kit from Mopar for my 2024 Gladiator Sport S. I got the outlet mounted and the harness connected. But for the life of me I cannot find the harness to plug the on/off button in.

It's waaaaaay TF back there on some Gladiators. It may be taped to your light wire but way back in the dash. Follow the light wiring. May you have an easier time than I did.

Did this a few months ago on my 24 Rubicon. It was tucked way in the back of the speaker, toward to the top. A long needle nose plier helped grab it.

The kit doesn't include the inverter so I'm assuming I have to buy that too?

If I was adding an outlet to the back, I'd find one a lot better and cheaper than the MOPAR version
But with almost everything running low voltage DC these days, it's a why bother thing.

The bed outlet kit is intended for use by those that already have the inverter factory installed.

If you have the electrical plug in the back seat you already have the inverter.

It came standard on Overland and the current X packages have it as well. I think only the Sport and Sport S types might not have had it, not sure if it was an option for other levels without looking at old order guides

Yeah, they called it some sort of package - included the rails, inverter and another thing or two.
Since some levels had the larger screen as standard (the 22 Overland), you got the inverter.
I never asked for or checked it as an option - it just came that way.

The only reason I ever need 120V now is to charge tool batteries on a rare occasion (or my GMRS radios which still use a 120V wall charger), and for that occasion I have a little inverter that plugs into my 12V cig outlet and handles that business for me.
