The guy on ebay that makes the license plate light control harness and the passive entry add-on harness now has the license plate light control harness with the new version of the license plate/fog light connector. I guess their use to be a flat, single row 4-pin connector but now Jeep switched to a square, gray 4-pin connector. He's been trying to get find a place to get the new connectors. I guess he found them them because he emailed me that they were available now just like he said he would. His ebay name is 'carpemaur1"

Has anyone else used this? The one I found on eBay said one has been sold previously. That’s not many out there…

I bought one, but never installed it. A single layer of Lamin-X tint for $12 over the bottom half of the plate lights fixed the problem.

I bought one several years ago for my 2020 Overland, and transferred it to my 2023 High Altitude in February of 2024.

I have the taser, but it’s inconsistent at best. Im always having to disconnect and reconnect it or remarry the thing to get the light blanking to work

Makes sense. I don't actually know if mine works or doesn't but I know the turn cam can be finicky at times and sometimes doesn't turn off all the time. This is a long shot and I would venture to guess you are running a new firmware since this is an old firmware update but they did release an updated firmware back in 2020 to fix an issue with the plate blanking version 11.2.3 so any version newer should also be fixed.

I bought one from him a few years ago with the old style connector. Installed and worked fine. I know @ShadowsPapa had a bad experience with the same vendor and it was a hack job.

I wound up on my current 2025 JT of just wiring in my own setup and was maybe into it for $15 worth of parts and supplies.
