Spent the other day in Zion when it snowed. Then found a tumbleweed in my neighborhood. Biggest one I've ever seen and have no idea where it came from.

Ha!!! We got some of those the size of VWs rolling down the road here. It’s comical when they actually stay in their lane. :CWL:

Picked up some lumber from Home Depot. I inherited an antique bed and try girlfriend was all about it. It was way too high off the ground for our tastes so we built two platforms to lay our new mattress (being delivered today) on and lower the bed almost a foot. Big difference. She insisted on helping so I let her help. It takes longer, but she enjoys learning and building things.

Heck at least she wants to help , I usually have to break out my wallet or a cat of 9 tails to get any assistance from anyone around my place.

No. I love that about her. She can TIG aluminum like a boss. She just takes forever doing anything and it takes longer, but she always does perfect work. I use her for painting trim and windows a stuff all the time. lol.

I did a terrible job painting our sunroom ceiling and she fixed it for me. I spent like a week building the ceiling to be perfect and ruined it with an impatient paint job. lol.

I’m a huge fan of making instead of buying, when it’s in my wheelhouse anyway.

I've seen much smaller ones that the wind can easily carry. This thing was massive and it wasn't even that windy that day so I'm not even sure where it came from. The crazy things I get to see in the desert.

My girlfriend loves to run headlong into a project - even if she doesn't know WTF she is doing.

She isn't afraid to try 😂

Knows enough to get just about anything done well enough, though.

When I first met her the AC went out in her car. It was early enough that I wasn't sure I wanted to deal with it, and she didn't want to ask.

Her and her girl friend changed the compressor themselves, lol. Even re-charged the system. She did the floors and trim in her house. The paint, other odd and ends. None of it is perfect - but it shows she had the grit to try - damn the outcome.

My wife "Supervisee's" and tells me I'm wrong. She can't tell a screwdriver from an excavator, but I really think she does it just to drive me nuts.

Ron
My wife has the same play book been telling Im wrong for 29yrs. Even has a sign that says " No your wrong , Im always right ".😂

I can’t even weld aluminum!!!! I tried and burnt through about 3 inches of tubing to intercooler piping before I said “Nope”. Let someone else take care of it.
I do want to learn that someday.
