Ok, getting ready to take the doors off for the first time, wondering how you secure your Jeep with no doors.

Just use your key to lock the glove box, center console, and rear seats from being flipped up.

I drive with tube doors a lot throughout the year and occasionally doors off completely.

I don't leave anything of value in the glove box or center consol and leave them unlocked. These are the places a would be thief will check first and if it's locked, they will more than likely break things to get in.

Lock the back of the rear seat and I installed JCR lockable underseat storage bin as I have camp gear, recovery gear and tools in these areas.

I use a steering wheel lock in places but not all

I still press the lock button on the fob to arm the alarm system and lock tailgate

Lock with the fob to turn on the alarm and engine immobilizer, other than that just don't carry anything you would hate to have stolen
FYI if someone has the ability to spoof your FOB, the truck WILL start. At least a manual transmission one will. And it will disable the alarm once started. I thought this would work too until I tried it, but nope, maybe the automatic models don't do this.

I plan on getting the NoLimitz module from a vendor that makes the Tazer. Combined they basically make the truck a brick. Obviously an educated/determined thief will take what they want, but for most, they get a brick and you get added features like a Valet/Teen (borrowed) mode you can adjust and other things like removing torque limits and keep the PCM from showing it's been tuned when checked.

Therefore I have a hidden killswitch. No one will ever find it!!

If they go through the hassle of copying my fob, they can have it and I'll track it down with the sirius guardian or get the insurance pay out is the way I look at it.

I leave it in park. I leave it parked at the boat ramp without any issues.

Doors off for remote area trips. Doors on around high population areas. If your doing Doors off in high populated areas then what can I say.. other than your taking a risk.

lock the glove box, console, and rear seat. Don't leave anything of value in the cab. That's really all you can do.

Doors off you're really only attracting the "Stash and Grab" folks. Anyone talking about key/fob spoofing, breaking into center consoles, ect... are going to get in your jeep whether you have the doors on or not if they want to. Give someone enough time and nothing is fool proof.

Not sure about newer models but on my 2021 Mojave, you can’t lock the center console and locking the rear seats only prevents the seat backs from folding forward. The seat bottoms have no lock.

Layers of things...

Lock it with the fob, nothing of value in it, that's visible..
Hidden Kill Switch
GPS Tracker w/ engine kill feature - I can real-time track the location and disable the engine via App.
Hood Lock for harder access to fuse box
Lock glove box for harder access to CAN

Now days, I don't worry about it too much, they'd have to be highly stupid to try to steal mine.. it's very noticeable and recognizable... This is the way I'll run it until October/November.

It also depends on where you live for most folks. Out away from the cities, you are probably safer...
