Rough country....mopar lift....daystar...alloy usa....leveling kit....1 inch... 2 inch lift...I'm confused at this point ....35's 37's idk....I wanna lift my sport and put 35's or 37's ....why is the mopar lift 1,500 and the day star 400$? Ride quality?
The Mopar lift is a complete lift, with new springs, control arms, shocks, and brackets. The spacer lifts are pretty much just that, with shock extensions which work with your factory shocks. Nothing wrong with using spacers for a minor height adjustment, as long as it keeps the shocks in an effective working range, and doesn’t allow running. Look at a sight like Quadratec to see the differences. Generally, a complete system is the way to go if you can afford it.

What didn't you like about it?
I have the Mopar on my JL and like it a lot. Much better than the Rubicon Express lift I had on my JKU. My ride improved from stock set up and I find it to be quite smooth and planted. The amount of lift which netted me a tad bit over 2" was perfect.
I won't be lifting or leveling my JT as I'm very happy with the Rubicon in stock form. If I feel the need for lift, I'll just go jump in my lifted JL, lol.

Yeah there's just something about the front of a truck sitting higher than the rear that bugs me. I guess my OCD kicks in. Lol. And anything more than 1.5" is going to make the front higher than the rear. Seems like that's the magic number that Jeep designed into these trucks to allow for payload.
My truck is not higher in the front ha. That's the angle of the photo. The rough country lift lifts it 2.5 inches in the front but lifted only slightly in the rear to make it level. The factory rake has the Gladiator much higher in the rear for payload capacity towing etc. Nothing like the Wrangler. My JT Sport S is the exact same height front and back. It's definitely not higher in the front.

So you put a tape measure on it and checked from center of hub to lip of fender front and rear and it's the same? Because in those photos it's clearly higher in the front. And, I have a Sport S also and mine has the Max Tow package, so the heaviest and tallest springs, and even then it was only 1.5" taller in the rear from the factory. I'm currently running a 2.0" front spacer and it's higher in the front, so I'm going to put a 0.75" spacer in the rear to fix it next week. A 2.5" front spacer would definitely make the truck nose-high.

I really like your truck. Very nice. I'm just sayin', there's no way it's level.

Would this kit look ok on a Rubicon with stock mud terrains. I really want to keep the daily drivability up and not bog it down with 35's or 37's.
this is my first jeep that i'm not doing a susp. lift. i miss the oem stock smooth drive. i upgraded to ruby wheels/tires and im very happy! i would def want a coil spring lift if and when they come out - as iv'e always done that on my jk's

Daystar 2" lift with 35" tires. Control arms that come with the kit are about 1/2 longer than stock. Wanted to keep the stock shocks more than anything.

How much is the rear lifted? Is it also 2"?

I feel that the lift was nice when it first installed - I had 35’s on it and I had it less than a year and right before I got rid of it (to get the JT) the steering absolutely went to shit and it was almost not even drivable near July 4th few weeks ago.. . I was so pissed off and so happy to get rid of it - I will not be lifting my JT as I upgraded to the Rubicon tires and wheels 33” I love the stock ride the smoothness - It’s so quiet and I absolutely love to drive it everywhere

Good choice @JTguy2020 . What many people fail to realize is that as soon as one starts lifting and adding bigger tires, the driving and handling characteristics are drastically changed. Go figure. Be sure to post some pics of your rig with the Rubicon take offs.
