Also papasmurf, how is the road noise roar and handling on the 35’s compared to 33’s? Same, better or worse?
Depends more on the tire/ tread pattern you choose than the size. I went from 285/70R17 to 285/75R18. The 285 is the tire width in mm, so while my new tires are taller, they are not wider. Also, both the stock tires and the new tires are the same tread pattern - Falken Wildpeak AT3/W, so they sound pretty much identical to the stock Rubi tires.

How did it affect your speedo?
Assuming your post was directed at me... My speedo is currently about 6% off. So when my speedo says 50mph, i'm actually moving about 53mph.

This will be fixed by a Tazer within a few months.

We rarely have back seat passengers. That said, I suppose anything is possible in a wreck. I'm not a physician or a scientist and I did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, but I did go sit in the back seat. I'm 6' 1" and if I sit in the back seat and lean forward my head does touch the Atomic Monkey holder. Of course that would vary based on front seat position and passenger height. If the seat was farther forward or tilted further, I don't know that my head would contact at that point.

That said, I found it padded and not uncomfortable. I wouldn't use it as a pillow, but I'm thinking a soft impact would not cause significant issues. I'm thinking the only way my head would impact there in a crash, would be if I was not wearing a seat belt. And if I'm not wearing a seat belt, it's also possible I'd just watch the fire extinguisher go by as flew past, en route to the windshield. I suppose my head could snap off my neck with the seat belt in place, but in an impact that would cause my head to fly forward and detach from my body, I'm thinking impacting the fire extinguisher would be the least of my worries.

I also tested the back seat folding down. I was able to fold the seat down without touching the fire extinguisher mount (and without folding down the head rest). Again, I suspect that would all be dependent on front seat position.

Seriously, though, I wanted the fire extinguishers to be within arm's reach for myself and my passenger and these fit the bill. The mounts seem very secure and I don't see any potential for the fire extinguishers to shift while in motion. I'm happy with the product quality and placement.
You made me laugh. I'll be ordering mine. Thanks for the input

I did the same thing to mine, but I used a utility knife instead of a dremel then cleaned up the edges with a mill bastard file. I only spent about 30 minutes total on it, you could probably clean it up even better if you really wanted but from the front you can't even see them and it doesn't really bother me.

Looks great. I am not a fan of all the exposed wiring. Either doing this or wrapping with electrical tape so at least it is all blacked out.

Also I installed my Tazer Jl lite today during lunch, followed the instructions to a T, and now I can't even get my uconnect screen to turn on, nor can I access any of the features it's supposed to come with.
Any suggestions?

Unmarry and remarry, then a full reboot. If that does not work contact Z Automotive if you purchased from them, they have always replied to my questions, [email protected]

Installed my Bestop Sunrider. Not real difficult but one of the z clips was a PITA to get locked in. Did it myself in about an hour and 15 minutes. Now I hope it doesn’t leak!

Installed my bumper and winch, taught the neighbors kids a few new words too. Rigged Ridge Arcus and Smittybilt 12k X2O. Still need to go pre-tension the rope....
