When you try to lock your jeep it gives you a friendly reminder. You can leave it there unlocked but not locked. I just don't like carrying a brick around in my pocket.

I keep mine on a light aluminum carabiner attached to a belt loop. So it's easy to grab it and use a button, and is always on me without even noticing it.

As far as phone mounts, I'm 100% happy with the Proclip dock and clip. I want a mount that is right by my hand on the wheel, pretty solid, easy to see the phone, but not overly obtrusive. I also want my phone to dock and connect power/Carplay without dealing with separate cables. I've had ProClip docks and RAM mounts in various other vehicles, so this time I went with their JT/JL-specific dash clip. No vehicle mods, snaps on in about two seconds. Takes a minute to screw the dock onto the mount. Just did 800 miles with it and love it. I do need to find a clean way to route the cable, maybe behind the head unit? Ideas appreciated.

So recently came up with a mount with a rubber inlay that clamps onto the air vent bezel. The clamp has AMPS bolt pattern so it will work with RAM, 67d, and others who follow the industry standard. So you can run the phone cradle / Garmin holder of your choice.

Excellent product that is simple, svelte, unobtrusive, easily accesible and in proper line of sight. The Offroam clamp definitely checks all the boxes for my use.

I just bought the weather tech cupfone holder & I really like it.. I got the extender so u can raise it up or down 4” I find it really works well for me

I went with the Vector bar with 67 Design phone holder.
I have other items to mount to the bar, which is why I went that way.
My old Garmin zumo 660 still functions quite well and I didn't want to lose it. Also didn't want to mount to the windshield in the Jeep and 67 Design had what I needed to continue to use my GPS.

Anyone running the Bulletproof METAL setup? I just received my kit with the metal plate since I am concerned about the plastic plate with the AZ sun/heat. Anyway, the hole for the factory screw isn't even close to correct. It forces the screw almost straight up and down instead of at an angle.....

It’s costly but I’ve had the holder for a little while now & I am really happy with it.. the cup is solid in the holder & I like the fact u can remove cups until you get the right fit..I also like the extender to position it a bit higher but you may like it without it just the same...also if I change vehicles I can always reuse the same holder

I just got the 67 one (posted first here) its super easy super solid and looks great. It is not in the way of the air or screen. I even got a super long USB/Apple cable and tucked it below the console so I am not always using the front one.

However...with the CarPlay...its almost not needed. AND did anyone notice the section between the two cups in the front cup holder is a slot for a phone? Perhaps that was just me LOL

I just installed the Ram Mounts track for the JT with the X-Grips for my Note9 and iPad Air. I took it out yesterday and it is rock solid! I need to get a different arm for the iPad so it sits a little lower, but otherwise, it's a great setup.

I figured that out in the first 30 seconds of ownership, before I ever even drove off the lot... The next day, I was over at my buddy with the Gator JTR’s house, and showed him that trick, and he said, “Seriously? I’ve had mine a week, and thought that was for my phone... But you’re right.”
