I've been avoiding the Tazer Mods (no real reason, just didn't have pressing needs)...however the more I'm reading, the more I'm leaning that way. Couldn't find confirmation, do you know if the tag lights off in reverse was a "live" feature or a programmed feature? (IE, remove Tazer after programming or must leave in?)
It's programmed in automatically in the newest update. But I think you can turn it back on if you want to... I don't know why anyone would, personally... But I think you can override it manually if you do so choose.

The Tazer needs to stay installed on your Jeep at all times for full-functionality. Removing the Tazer eliminates all the live functions.

As for whether that feature is a "Live" function or not, I have no idea. You would have to call or email ZAutomotive tomorrow and find out.

Installed this today, but do not like how these tabs look. Anyone encountered same problem, any ideas to make it better? These currently are helping to hold the insert pushed in place.

Maybe pre cut holes foe those tabs and some how hold the insert to grill with some screws... i don't know...just basically looking to see what some of you have done.

no need for the comments regarding the air flow blockage, im aware of that... thanks in advance.

Got a part #? That is a HUGE difference! Mine had that horrible glare, as well, but the Tazer update turns off the tag lights now, when in reverse to keep from that horrible glare. And while it helps, I still can't really see a damn thing farther away than 10 foot behind me...
Your other option to address the tag light glare is a pretty cheap solution. Look up "Lamin-x 148C Charcoal 4" x 8" Universal Film Cover Sheet" on Amazon. It's a small sheet of tint film. I saw a write up a while back where someone went through a lot of trouble to cut pieces to fit the tag lights. I ended up applying mine when I swapped my bumper. I found pulling the lights, fitting the film, then popping them back in made tucked the tint behind the light bezel and made for a cleaner look. The tint made all the difference in the world in the backup camera, but still lights the plate well at night.

Hit 8,000 miles today and we're just over 30-days old. It's been an amazing truck so far.
Hope to slow the roll soon.

Be careful deactivating the ESS. I did mine and it faulted out my remote start. Had to undo it. The Pulsar works without causing this issue.

I installed my Tazer, keep the ESS deactivated, and use my remote start 2-3 times a week... Never one single issue, even from the very first time I installed my Tazer.

Speaking of - here is the installed vent turn signals. They were easy to install and work really well

... I became aggravated because there are multiple thread hijackings across this forum that still remain in tact and it appeared the sponsored thread was being given special treatment.
Thanks for the clarification. Since you say that was a sponsored thread, yes, I imagine it was being given special treatment. After all, the business concern paid to have that thread there. We who are along for the free ride need to have some deference to that. Other threads, if they are just started by a forum member like you or me and describe, say, an install. Then along comes another forum member who says he'd like something like that, but perhaps a little different, and you chime in that he should look at product Z, should remain free from admin intrusion.

There is a forum that I'm a member of that years ago the original owner (who shall remain nameless, please) was very restrictive of even mention of certain competing products. It was a pain and limited what we could discuss and led to conflict between members and moderators. Eventually the owner left, and the new owners eased up on those restrictions.

Honestly, it looks to me like you were temporarily banned more because of your display of aggravation with the forum admin (who is probably some fellow who volunteers his time to keep this forum somewhat civil). But I do agree: This could have all been avoided had, when they made the initial deletion, they politely notified you and explained why.
