Didn't we learn there is no requirement other than driver report? I thought owner request stood on its own merit. Maybe that was the other variant.

Nope, you are correct. Check out the last line of this, the LATEST version,Didn't we learn there is no requirement other than driver report? I thought owner request stood on its own merit. Maybe that was the other variant.
The service visit might show, but the details may not.Would completed TSB work show up on a Carfax report? I bought my truck used and there is nothing showing.
RRT-20-053 is a software reflash. I believe this is the misfire reflash, not the reflash for the steering issue (and definitely not a steering box replacement).Took mine to the dealer today for the TSB. The service advisor I spoke to yesterday said he was familiar with the TSB and that they “probably” had the parts in stock since they’ve done a few others recently. The service rep I spoke to this morning when I dropped it off didn’t appear to be too familiar with the TSB and mentioned an “RRT” (rapid response). When I picked it up, they said they performed the RRT and that the steering issue should be resolved.
Can someone help me out with what the heck this means? When I drove it home, I did not notice any chances whatsoever. Here is a partial picture of the invoice...

Yes, I linked to the thread that discusses this and to the documents earlier here. My post with the links is here -RRT-20-053 is a software reflash. I believe this is the misfire reflash, not the reflash for the steering issue (and definitely not a steering box replacement).
That part number 06513396AA is showing as no longer available. Is there a new number the the bolts? It’s supposed to be 4 all the same length.check out page 2

Then those dealers are not following or being held to the language of the latest version of the TSB.I keep hearing from Jeepers that dealers stopped replacing them on any lifted Jeeps unless it has the 2” Mopar lift. I’m still going to try.

Interesting! Thanks for that. My dealer said if the Mopar lift goes on, the TSB won't unless I pay for it.... @JeepCares ??QUOTE direct from the latest version of the TSB -
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
NOTE: Vehicles that have professionally installed lift kits, that are within the limits of the
service wheel alignment specifications, are eligible for the repair described in this
TSB. However, if the vehicle has been lifted or modified beyond the limits of the
service wheel alignment specifications, this TSB is not likely to address the
customer’s concern of wander, leads, and pulls.
"THAT ARE WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THE SERVICE WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECS"
In other words, they look up the SERVICE wheel alignment specs and if your truck is within those limits, where's the problem with doing the TSB?
Note that "service wheel alignment specs" are generally different than "right off the line factory specs" - meaning they are a bit more lax due to assumed wear.
It's sort of like torque specs for brand new stuff as opposed to "retorque" specs for used parts.
So if your truck isn't hacked up, and is within the service alignment specs, this TSB is saying fine, ok, do it" - but if it's NOT in alignment specs, it probably won't fix things.
(Obviously with a pull or wander, alignment needs to be a consideration.)
