The JT GVW and tow ratings with the 3.0 ecodiesel are lower due to what FCA says are overheating issues. I want to increase my tow and load capacity so I can tow over 6K in the mountains without risking overheating. What are your thoughts on how best to do so? I've been reading about the Mishimoto transmission cooler Model: MMTC-JL-18SL (https://www.mishimoto.com/jeep-gladiator-performance-transmission-cooler-2020.html). Mishimoto claims the following:
- Direct fit for 2020+ Jeep Gladiator JT
- 83% increase in fluid capacity over stock transmission cooler
- 93% increase in external tube area over stock transmission cooler
- 195% increase in internal fin surface area for comprehensive cooling in even the harshest conditions
