I posted a few days ago that I traded the Falken WildPeak AT's 255's from my soon-to-be sold two door '17 JK to my son-in-law for the tires off his new Gladiator California Edition. They're pretty tame street tires but I'm selling so what the hell?! He's thrilled with the more aggressive looking tread & width.

Apparently I picked up a wood screw right on the corner between tread and sidewall of my new-to-me '20 Sting Gray Gladiator at the shop. The shop is owned by a friend's father and honestly? It's a shit hole. Truly filthy yard with derelict cars/trucks and stacks of old tires but my friend runs his tire business out of it, his prices are excellent and he's the nicest guy - so I keep using him.

I tested it with soapy water, no leak. Decided to pull the screw out, tested again, still no leak. It must have caught the absolute thickest rubber on the tire and been in there the max possible depth without causing a leak. Anyway, my buddy says since it doesnt leak to fill the hole with rubber cement! I asked, "...like the Elmer's stuff you get at a stationary store?" He said yes that it actually works good for a little puncture like this that isn't leaking and will cure good from road heat. News to me but ok.

Scavenges the oil vapors that would normal recirculate back into the PCV system and burned up on the intake cycle. Keeps a cleaner PCV system and in theory, mitigates intake oil blow by buildup that can cause misfire issues.

Some people swear by them and others think it is unnecessary.
I empty a can of oil/? From the catch can every oil change. Amazing how much would have been sent into the intake.
Not in my Jeep.

Cold air intake. I know alone it doesn't make gains, but it gave me what I wanted sound-wise.

Picked it up for $275 locally from a guy that ordered the wrong one - $350 regular price.

Sorry for the portrait recording. kids today... ?

I love the retro look, and I am looking for the same thing. Would you mind sharing where you found them?

I was under the impression catch cans were for race cars and turbo engines. You're getting an oil can's worth every 3000 miles on your V6?

Surprised to hear the 3.6 benefits from it as well. They haven't moved to Direct Injection, as I understood it.

I don't run catch cans on any of my vehicles, but it seems like those that do find considerable oil in them.

unfortunately gotta wait to do a catch can until i get back to WA. they are not allowed in CA and will fail inspections if you do anything with the PCV system :headbang:

Got the Motobilt rear bumper into primer. Taking my sweet time with it. Letting the primer cure for days before sanding and painting. Then after paint, letting sit outside baking in the sun each day for 3-5 days to fully cure before handling. Maybe get it installed next weekend.
