Swapped rock rails for Mopar tubular side steps. Figure I could swap back if needed, but in the meantime some passengers need a little help getting in. They don't hide the rocker as well, but they look good.

Installed a hood decal to my Willys. Went on pretty straight forward as I am usually ham fisted on doing large decal work.

Installed my Metalcloak full skid plates and tightened up a lower control arm bolt that was loose

Did a detail... I know, you're never supposed to detail a new Jeep, but just trying to protect my investment. Full ceramic. I even ceramic coated the black top. I will say, it makes it the top a little shinier but not a ton...

I was taught the same thing about not messing with new paint but when I looked through the owners manual it doesn't say anything at all about a breaking period when discussing paint. This is all I can find about the paint and it's in the Servicing and Maintenance Section. Not one word about a break in period.

Oh and I forgot to mention… I changed out my transfer case atf fluid before installing my skid plates. Yeah yeah I know 25k early but easier access with skid plates all off and I put in Amsoil’s synthetic ATF…. I’m hoping she shifts like butter now.

I was reading the other day that some of the push back in shifting the transfer case is due to the FAD. Takes a bit to get the front driveshaft in sink. Not that i have noticed a problem but maybe it will never be like BUTTER BABY.

go under your truck and grab the front driveshaft … it feee spins, so it definitely has to move a bit to engage … yeah I can see a little the fad having a connection issue but I have done this same thing on a previous JkU and it was definitely way better… but each their own right????

I love the argument I see with people stating you loose so much "usable space".. no dumb ass you gain a full 2nd layer of "usable space" I can now put all my tools in the back keep them dry and secure and then place another layer of crap right on top of it and strap it down !

So can you haul a refrigerator, washer, similar large items, etc, on top of all that?

How do you secure coolers, folding chairs, similar large items, etc, for day trips?

Thanks! I'll have to look it up, but I ordered it online. It's from a company that mixes factory paint and puts it in an aerosol can for you. I primed, painted, and cleared it. I love the way it turned out.
