How about some more details on the rear window.? it's been a few days.

Well I have left the stock JT club on tires now but stayed close though. 33/10.5 R17 E rated. Lost a little MPG but better ride feels solid driving no mushy feel and speedometer is now on. No keeping up with the Joneses ?

Saved about $300 bucks on a Trail Rail for the bed! Went to the local box store and bought a 10’ stick of Unistrut. Side rails are 51” long and only had to drill one hole on each rail to mount it up! Next project will be a bed rack that I’m currently drawing the plans for!

I've been considering this mod. Has anyone tried flipping the unistrut over and using longer bolts to allow the use of the slots as tie-down points? Seems like that would eliminate the need to find or make sliding attachment points.

I’m sure that could work. You would just have to get longer screws to adjust for the 1 5/8” depth. Which should be about 70-75mm long bolts. M6 x 1.00 x 70 or 75. That would work to flip it over.

I just want to add to this topic. I have factory LED tails and bsm and these tails are plug and play. Just have to swap out the bsms to the new tails if equipped.

Wrapped the roof in preparation for my roof rack and bed racks coming this week. I wrapped two other cars this past year so getting decent at it. Figured this will add protection in case a bolt or nut falls during install of my rack. Also put on some window visors.
Oh and yesterday installed oracle head lights and fogs on my gf's JK. She's quite lucky to have me build her JK that we bought new in 2017.

Nope and nope. Reason I went this route. There is another style made by winjet and both are sold at CJponyparts or on Amazon. One of the guys on the Black Friday sale thread posted a picture of that other version. I opted for this style but at least you have a choice.

Tightened up one of the lower ball joint nuts that was completely loose and only still there due to the cotter pin. Seems to have worked and stopped the cracking noise I was getting.

Same, not as bad a yours but they were not fully tight when I checked them.

Installed the Hikelt pedal controller. I'm impressed, definitely makes the truck more responsive. I played around with the hi performance mode and while lots of fun, I could feel the gas tank draining lol.. I'll probably leave it on the middle cruise mode most of the time.

I didn't want the controller somewhere I would have to remove it every time it goes to the dealer and i don't plan on changing the modes very much so I'm trying this location in the glove box out.

I haven't dressed the wire yet and I'm just using a command strip for now until I decide if I'm leaving it there. Seems to work well so far though.

I also finally got the security bypass cable and changed my rear lights to LED with Alphaobd to stop the warnings.
